Incredible ! Starts on first pull or first push of battery start button. Runs quiet where you can easily have a conversation standing nest to each other, and doesn’t bother the neighbors (I use it for backup power supply). Powers my whole house (3200 sq ft).

Champion Power Equipment

I just finished installing a transfer box and outside outlet. I needed a generator to power the whole house. I purchased the 11000 watt dual fuel generator for that purpose. I ran it for 5 hours and alternated loads. I had everything in my house running as normal including furnace. The only time I could get it over 50 percent was when I turned on the dryer and that pushed it up to about 75 percent, it is very quiet hopefully works out for me.

Broken in

Satisfied customer, already had a smaller Champion inverter generator to run my camper, so I purchased the 11,000 to run necessary things in my home. Love the simplicity of getting it ready for operation and love how quite it runs compared to open frame generator s

I purchased this Champion 11000 Inverter after losing power for 6 days after last years hurricane.
 I had it connected to the house through the breaker box and it powered up the entire house with the exception if the AC, and that was by choice. I am extremely pleased and definitely prepared for the next power outage.

Great Generator

No regrets. Best warranty and value. I purchased to go with a 40amp GenerLink. Researched all the generators with a 240v NEMA 14-50R receptacle. I researched the biggest 40+ amp generators and Champion fit the bill.

After doing all my research I feel like I made the right decision. This Champion Dual Fuel Inverter was Exactly what I was looking for. Powerful, Quiet, User Friendly and Good Looking. It was easy to assemble and operate. Highly Recommended for the Price and Quality.

It was the Right Choice!!!!!!

Although I haven't ran the unit except for testing it seems to operate efficiently and reasonably quiet. Installation of the hardware for the wheels and support legs proved challenging as none of the brackets aligned with the pre-drilled holes. All of which required re-tapping due to paint overspray. I can hope the units long term performance matches Champions reputation. Time will tell...

Quality Control

Seems to be a well constructed unit and much quieter than a non-inverter, open frame generator.  It started easily and I ran it for the 5 hour break-in period. At the end of this I flipped the breaker on our 5500 watt water heater and it handled that as well as some miscellaneous lighting and vampire loads, floor heat in a bathroom, etc.  The red 100% load light was coming on intermittently.  This is at 2500' so it will lose almost 10% of rated power. After Helene, we decided we needed a generator large enough to run the water heater!  I subtracted one star due to a design flaw.  There is a raised plastic ridge around the instrument/breaker/outlet panel.  The 50 amp outlet is too low causing the molded housing on a 50 amp cord plug to interfere with this plastic ridge.  Two different cables had the same issue.  So I had to cut part of this ridge away to firmly seat the plug.  That really needs to be changed. Just mold a relief into this ridge below the 50 amp outlet so the customer doesn't have to perform surgery on a new generator to make the 50 amp outlet functional.  Other than that, I am satisfied with the performance, although I hope not to have to use it.  It is now prepped for long term storage awaiting the next power outage.
