I am very happy to have this in my storm preparedness arsenal. Knowing I have a reliable backup plan gives me great peace of mind, and the build quality seems solid right out of the box. Received the generator directly from Westinghouse and the driver placed the skid in my garage with ease. Ran it for 7 hours to ensure proper break in with conventional oil supplied and then replaced oil and cleaned filter as instructed.  So far it has been flawless and the generator id ready for service as needed. Instructions were vague  concerning specific oil capacity and I had to figure out the 12mm socket size for the oil change plug, but overall it was very easy to navigate.

The generator with options of natural gas costs more than a dual or single fuel source. 
The natural gas connection from the gas meter to the generator works best if the distance is no more than 20 feet long. If the distance is more than 20 feet, the hose or line must be bigger than 1/2 inch (standard size) so it can provide adequate natural gas (cubic feet) per natural gas rating (you can find out by checking with  your power generator manual for the natural gas rating).
In my situation, the electrical panel and the gas meter are about 130 feet measure along the fence and across the back yard around the garage where the electrical panel is found. Because the distance is 130 feet, I would need 1 inch hose. The  1-inch hose works best but the cost of the 1-inch hose and quick connect adaptors to ½ inch is hard to find and it would be too expensive. So, I decided not to use natural gas. 
Other than that, the power generator works well running on gasoline and propane gas.

Nice Gen

Quick delivery.  Remote start is nice, not sure if necessary.  Auto choke.  I haven't gotten a chance to use it to power my home, but easy assembly and seems to run strong.  Not very loud at all, comparable to a lawnmower.  I hope I never have to use this, but i'm confident it's powerful enough to handle business. I used 5W-30 oil to make sure it's ready for any type of weather.

Ready for the next power outage

Pretty much runs the house. We are running: 2 - 210 A/Cs, 65” Samsung TV, Lights, Ceiling Fans, Refrigerator, Chest Freezer, Modem, Washing Machine, 3 Oscillating Floor Fans, and we were alternating between the Hot Water Heater and the Clothes Dryer.

Definitely would recommend this generator!

I bought this about a month ago. The set up was easy to follow, I hooked up the generator to natural gas line and it took a couple tries to start up. I think it was just the air in the line gas line. Once it cleared up it started right up and powered the whole house with no issues. The only problem was getting central air to work over a 30AMP circuit connection from the generator. I will need to upgrade the home hookup to 50AMP service to support initial startup for central air which requires 40AMP for start up.

I just set up the generator yesterday and everything is working including a connection to my home electrical sub-panel.  I used gasoline for the test run and will be installing a natural gas line next.  We experience power outages in our area about twice each year usually lasting a day or two.  During the last big freeze however power was out for ten days. We're looking forward to having a dependable backup system.

Generator Powerhouse!

We just bought and had an electrician set up a switch for us. Since we have a gas line in our backyard, the TriFuel model was recommended. We live in a 1,500 SF home and - when tested on that gas - the generator seemed stout enough to run our entire home. Full disclosure: we have not had to use it to the fullest extent (for more than the time to test) as we haven't encountered a power outage yet. The true test will come when a storm leaves us without for a day or two. The reason for the 4 star vs the 5 star is because as strong and might as this machine seems, I do wish there was a way to muffle the sound a bit. We have neighbors that may care how audible it is - hopefully we can pacify any disturbance they have with the offer of coming over and “riding out the storm” with us.
