True to size. Easy to assemble. Lightweight, easy to move around but sturdy when sitting on top. Have it outside- collected a little rain in the natural groves but wiped off with my hand no water stains! Worth the price, ordered another for my patio area!

Worth the price.

We like this bench very much. *Instructions are only pictures so look really close - part 822 cross dowel in the brace goes in the bottom so you need to turn the bench upside down to assemble so the part stays in.

Does anyone glue the 817 wood dowels? I thought about that. Good solid piece of furniture. Not sure if the washers are that important, but you should use all parts.

Good solid piece of furniture. Assembly is easy*

Beautiful rustic finish. Great quality. Double check directions, and scrutinize pictures to watch precisely where holes are located on a piece. Directions could be better. Using it indoors.

Heavy and sturdy and great rustic style

I wanted something that would work double duty. This rustic bench does the job. I put plants on but whenneeded for extra seating, I have it! And it's a pretty piece of furniture!

Does double duty!

I bought this bench online, not sure where I would use it. Received a few days later and immediately started putting it together on a covered, screened in porch. Only took about 15- 20 minutes. It looked so good, I decided to use it there. Put a few magazines and a live green plant on it and it really looks great. When needed, can be used for extra seating. Price was so reasonable, especially for the impact it made. Thank you

Great and useful

I bought two benches for use with a dining table I refinished. The benches are a rustic, slightly distressed wood, which I painted to match the dining table. They are sturdy and the farmhouse style looks nice with the table. Very happy with this purchase.

Nice benches - not just for outdoors

So easy to put together and very beautiful - looks handmade - would love a couple in a smaller length

Beautiful piece of furniture

Very attractive bench. Looks very nice for the money. A bit more light weight than I expected. We will have to see how well it holds up. I have it in a porch but it is still outside and if the conditions are right will be exposed to some snow/rain. Very poor directions. Assembly was not hard once I figured out where the nut and screw were to be positioned but with better directions the assembly would have only taken me 10 minutes instead of a half hour.

Very attractive

only reason was not 5 stars was one piece of wood was cracked on arrival. I called the number of the company and they shipped out a new piece next day. great bench

very nice

One end piece has a very visible deep scratch in it and the top isn’t as sturdy as I had thought it would be. The finish of the top looks to resemble something hand scraped but fails. Instead the surface is rough and snagged in places and can easily catch clothing if you scoot at all, even when trying to stand up.

Poor quality.
