Green Kiwi, 3 lbs.

Kiwi is an intriguing fruit with fuzzy brown skin, glistening green flesh, and a sweet and tart taste that leaves you hydrated and nourished. Green Kiwi offers an antioxidant powerhouse that makes it a smart choice for snacks and meals.

What Vitamins Do Kiwis Contain?

Kiwi is no ordinary fruit. It has been valued around the globe for centuries for its nutritional properties. If you thought oranges had the most vitamin C, think again! Green kiwi has nearly double the amount as both oranges and lemons. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that helps eliminate free radicals that cause cellular damage. You also get the added boost of immune support to keep you healthy during flu season. One kiwi and you also get a blend of vitamins A, B6, B12, E, potassium, calcium, iron and magnesium. Keep your skin, bones and vision young and beautiful by enjoying this fruit often. Kiwi also contains folate, a vitamin that helps pregnant women and young children to maintain proper growth.

Do Kiwis Have Other Health Benefits?

Studies show that kiwi fruit also releases small doses of serotonin, which may help aid in sleep and relaxation after eating. This exotic fruit is also a good source of fiber. Foods high in fiber help to keep you full for longer and aid in regulating blood sugar, blood pressure and cholesterol levels.

Kiwi Fruit Has Many Uses

There are multiple kiwi fruit uses to try and share with friends. Spruce up your yogurt or cereal in the morning with slices of kiwi. Decorate a dessert for friends with the beautiful green interior. Try sliced kiwi on a summer salad. Kiwi fruit also tastes delicious in a variety of smoothies.

Ease Of Peeling

You can't buy enough of them they're absolutely delicious. Peel them and eat them. Don't even waste time. I add them to my salad and I also add them to my morning smoothie with my berries in my yogurt. Absolutely delicious

Kewi

These are a good deal and they taste great

Our kids liked the kiwis. Most of the time they don't like anything green (healthy = yuck!), but they gave this a try and enjoyed them. We did have to make sure that they were not moldy though as we did pick up two packages that we had to replace.

Good Kiwis

It's good but couldn't enjoy the whole fruit without affecting my taste buds 😀 (get itchy) not like the golden kiwi. Golden kiwi is juicier and less bite on my tongue.

A little sour for me

Not quite ripe

I should have checked the quality before putting them in my cart. There were a few that were not fresh. They were bruised and sour. I guess it's my bad. Never had this problem before and I will buy again.

Check your produce

Some were more ripe than others, and the ones that were more ripe went bad the next day

Spoiled quick

These looked great top and bottom. You could see what you were getting. When I got home and started to unpack them and three of them just exploded, rotted, and the one I opened looked like these had been frozen.

Rotten Does it

I've bought kiwi at Sam's club in the past that were excellent, but these weren't. They were partly frozen, had soft spots in them and never seemed to ripen enough.

Disappointing

Some of the kiwi were not in good shape. The ends of 3 of them were rotten and the rest were under ripe. I'm not sure if the rotten ones had been damaged and that's why they went bad but I was only able to actually use a couple of them.
