Lettuce

Really fresh--as if just picked from the garden--and a bargain with two heads. Great for salads, sandwiches, and even lettuce soup.

Incredible iceberg lettuce

Two days after I received this lettuce, it was deteriorating.  I composted a lot of it.

Wilting Let-Us

I bought this to use used as a layer for somen salad I was making for my daughter's babyshower.  I purchased this on Nov 13th, and opened it on Nov 15th. When I opened the bag, most of the layers of lettuce had brown rust spots on them and the leaves were limp, not crisp. As I cut into the heads of lettuce I found more brown spots. I couldn't use most of it. I took pictures and will show them to Sam's Club staff the next time I'm there.

Poor Quality

I ordered two bag of this lettuce on line for store pick up. The ones which was given to me was not at all fresh . Here under is the photo of the lettuce that I took at the same day of purchase

Very disappointed in product size and quality.  Bought Sam's lettuce over a competitor's thinking I may get more for the money. The heads might make one salad each if I would even want to use it. The heads were wilted and brown in spots, looked like I had it in the fridge for week.  I would return if the return process was easier.

2 HEADS ARE NOT BETTER THAN ONE

Wilted, brown and rotten to the core...had to toss. Did grocery pick up. Didn’t notice till I got home.

Limits on only five per customer Is an awful decision. They should just talk more about what needs to be ordered and stock more at the store for Delivery and for in person and pick up so that everybody can get what they need as much as they need. Sams Club is for bulk items and only getting five packages of iceberg. Lettuce is not considered bulk. You need to be able to get more and that is why you go to Sam’s Club to get a lot of something. Very poor decision that I disagree with and very disappointing at Sam’s Club with. I am considering not renewing my membership.

There should not be limits on five for Customer

I bought this product thinking it would save me money and be, well, of course, a head of lettuce that I could use.  However, for the last month, this product has something that turns the leaves brown and gooey. Often it will turn brown and taste oddly along the rims of each leaf. I spoke with a man in line at the service desk and he held up a bag that almost made me vomit. It was so gross. He was very upset and wanted his money back.

Nasty lettuce.

We signed up for a plus membership so that we could use curbside pickup & free shipping. My mother is 90 years old and medically vulnerable so I do everything possible to protect her, hence curbside pickup. 

We have been experiencing issues with produce for several months (please see photos) and each time I have called for a credit I have filed a complaint and shared these photos with Sam's Club customer service to no avail. 

I finally wrote to someone in Corporate and she in turn told the store manager (Jesse) to contact me. He sent me a message and gave me his cell phone number, when I texted him and told him I had photos I wanted him to see, he asked me to send them to his cell as well, he has been communicating with me via text since then. 

He told me he was looking into the situation and asked that I provide specific dates & invoice numbers for the products in question. I agreed to do so but asked for a work email address as it is much easier for me to send an email rather than trying to text all of that information. That was several weeks ago (October 25th) and was the last time I heard from him. He never even offered to give me a credit for the slimly, orange Iceberg Lettuce. 

I think this speaks volumes as to why we have been experiencing so many issues with curbside produce orders, the store management simply does not care. We have been loyal Sam's Club customers for nearly three decades, but apparently that doesn't make any difference, we are extremely disappointed with how this situation has been handled and don't appreciate having our time wasted or being sold rotting produce on a regular basis.
