Very similar to my previous Microwave except no handle. The microwave is easy to clean and the touch pads respond very well, the only item I need some improvement is the ability to change the melody.  The inside light light looks permanent (LED), can it be changed if it fails?.

unit door looks sleek, however because it covers entire front it becomes awkward to open when you stand close to microwave. Like the menu codes, hard to see unless lights are turned on. large oven size makes cooking large dinners. Quality unit.

Has a nice look. Has a great exhaust fan. I was not trilled with the glass turn table sticking out passed the bottom og the microwave and the part that sticks out fits into the door. Not happy ther is only one light about the stove which is not that bright and it is very hot, it even heats the inside of the microwave.

Had last MVEL233F microwave only 2-1/2 yrs and had to replace it with another MVEL2033F microwave.  All my appliances are LG with disappointed with this one.  Maybe just a lemon?

Just finished installing my second set of LG appliances (different house), as I generally like them.  However, I ignored the comments that the microwave controls are hard to see because they aren't lighted.  How bad could it be?  It IS bad.  I can hardly read the buttons even with all of my kitchen lights on.

It's fine. There's some issue with the door latch sensor / the door itself where it will intermittently just stop cooking. And bc it's intermittent and couldn't be reproduced at-will for the service tech, the repair request was closed out without the issue being repaired. But on the upside, when it is working, it cooks about as well as any other ~1k Watt microwave I've had. I won't ever buy one again, but we've figured out a way to convince it to get through cook cycles consistently, so this one is fine.

It's fine

Although we like the microwave, our screen doesn’t turn off after it is finished cooking. We have to open and close the door twice in order for the screen to shut off. We have tried unplugging the unit but unfortunately that doesn’t seem to w. The unit is a year and a half old.

LG Microwave

The buttons stopped working properly. I had to open and close the door several times then press the button for it to work. Thanks God i had the insurance. Allstate sent me a list of technicians when i called them they said they don't fix microwave. Aslo if you're going to get it feom Sam's br patient. I ordered mine March 24, 2024, i didn’t receive til April 4. 
It stops working exactly 2 years ( March 2026). The 2 stars is because it is very beautiful and classy. 

If youre going to buy it get the 4 year insurance plan.

I have been very pleased purchasing appliances from Sam’s Club. Nothing rates 100% all of the time, but Sams Customer Service has been very helpful when it doesn’t. LG on the other hand… Have not had this microwave even 18 months when it stopped heating. After spending more than an hour on the phone with LG tech and Customer Service, they tell me that they can send repair- and want a credit card deposit in the amount of a new microwave. Not to worry, they say, if the repair comes out to be less, they will refund the overage.  
IF?    IF I spend half a mortgage payment on an appliance, I expect it to last more than 18 months.
