I am a LG employee family member, and I purchased this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review.

I've been extremely impressed with the 55-inch LG OLED evo AI C6. The picture quality is simply outstanding—deep blacks, vibrant colors, and incredible contrast make everything from movies to sports look stunning. The OLED technology really shines, especially in darker scenes where detail is often lost on other TVs.

The AI-powered features are a nice touch as well. The upscaling works better than expected, making older content look sharper and more refined. The interface is fast and intuitive, and navigating apps like Netflix, YouTube, and others is seamless.

Sound quality is also surprisingly good for a flat-panel TV, with clear dialogue and decent depth, though pairing it with a soundbar would take it to the next level.

Setup was quick and straightforward, and the overall design is sleek and modern—it looks great in my living room.

Top-Tier OLED TV with Stunning Visuals

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using the OLED77C5PUA, the first thing that stands out is the vivid and lifelike picture quality. Thanks to OLED technology, blacks are deep and colors are rich and accurate, which makes movies, dramas, and games extremely immersive.

The TV supports a 144Hz refresh rate, and it really shows when gaming. Gameplay feels incredibly smooth with no noticeable stuttering or screen tearing, even during fast-paced scenes. It performs excellently for both console and PC gaming.

The built-in speakers deliver surprisingly solid sound quality. While an external sound system would enhance the experience further, the internal audio is more than sufficient for everyday viewing, with clear dialogue and balanced sound.

In terms of design, this TV is very impressive. The ultra-thin panel and extremely slim bezel make the screen feel almost borderless, allowing for greater immersion. The overall look is modern and premium, fitting well into any contemporary living space.

A Well-Chosen TV with Excellent Performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The screen quality on the 83-inch LG OLED C5 is outstanding. OLED truly shines here—deep blacks, excellent contrast, and rich, accurate colors. Dolby Vision content looks especially impressive. Shows like Stranger Things look incredible, with dark scenes retaining detail while highlights really pop.

I already own a 77-inch LG OLED C3, so this comparison comes from real-world use. Even though the size difference between 77 inches and 83 inches doesn't seem large on paper, it is very noticeable in practice. Installed in a dedicated media room, the 83-inch screen feels significantly more immersive and delivers a true home-theater experience.

Another pleasant surprise is the sound quality. For a TV, it's much better than expected—clear dialogue, decent bass, and a fuller soundstage compared to most flat-panel TVs. It's good enough that you don't immediately feel the need for a soundbar.

The new webOS UI feels smooth, modern, and responsive. Navigation is intuitive, apps load quickly, and the overall experience feels polished.

LG OLED C5 Stunning Picture with Great Sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just set up my LG C5 77" yesterday, upgrading from a 50" TV, and I'm genuinely blown away.
Going from 50" to 77" is a massive jump. At first, I thought it might be too big, but after a few hours, I can't imagine going back.

Plugged in PS5 and played FIFA and The Last of Us to test it out. FIFA looks incredibly smooth - the grass textures, player kits, and stadium details are so crisp. The 120/144Hz really shows during fast camera pans. The Last of Us is where this TV really shines. The colors are phenomenal - the overgrown environments, lighting through broken windows, character details in cutscenes... it's like playing a different game. The OLED blacks make dark scenes actually atmospheric instead of washed out. Watched some movies last night and the picture quality is stunning. The color depth and HDR content really pop. Details I never noticed before are crystal clear.

I'm already thrilled with this purchase. If you're considering the upgrade to OLED and this size, don't hesitate. The picture quality for both gaming and movies is absolutely worth it.

As amazing as ever

I spent alot of time researching the technology out there for tvs. I am primarily using this tv for streaming, gaming, and movies this tv excels on all phases. The refresh rate and connectivity are a must for gaming, and this tv does not disappoint. The display and resolution make you feel like your in the movie theater. Finally, the contrast sets itself above the competition.

Awesome OLED

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been really happy with my new LG C5 77". The picture quality is just super clean and natural, with deep blacks and realistic colors without oversaturation. Out of the box it already looked good, and after a bit of tweaking it's become amazing for everything — movies, shows, sports, all of it just looks perfect and the size makes it feel pretty cinematic at home. For gaming, though, it really shines. Input lag feels very low, and once Game Mode is on, everything just responds instantly on PS5/PC. 4K at high refresh rates, VRR, and those HDMI 2.1 ports make it easy to plug in multiple devices and not think about it again. HDR games look great too — bright highlights, detailed dark areas, and no weird smearing or ghosting in fast scenes. If you're into gaming and also want something that's just solid for everyday watching, this has been a amazing upgrade.

A fantastic TV, especially for gaming

I was expecting a difference coming from a high-end QLED, but the leap to true OLED is incredible. The C5 lives up to the hype—it's the best TV I've ever owned.

C5 - The best TV I ever own

The remote is genuinely terrible. It constantly activates a very ugly and cumbersome pointer. I thought upon setting up the TV that I could easily go into settings and disable it, but no, I discover that it is a permanent built in feature that cannot be disabled.

I do further research and find that this has been a problem for years, with people begging for another option and LG ignoring them. For a premium OLED TV, that is honestly unacceptable, the TV should be easy to use out of the box and not feel like it is actively fighting against you as you try to navigate content and settings.

It may be a solvable issue using third party hardware, but due to the fact that the TV is very annoying and difficult to use without additional purchases and doesn't give a tiny toggle in the settings to disable “magic pointer” forever (while loading up the TV with bloat and software that the user will never want to use, such as an AI chatbot), I am not able to give this TV higher than one star. Hopefully, if enough people speak out, LG will listen and the TV will be usable out of the box.
