Measurements online are perfect.  The features of the machine are very easy to use.  I love that the dryer knows what the washer did as far as the settings go.

Our new washer/dryer combo, replaced our old standard set and allowed us to install a sink. We love our new LG and with the controls located between the washer and dryer half way up, no need to stand on a stool to run the dryer. Very qiuet compared to our old set!

Perfect for us

I knew we needed another set as the washer and dryer we have were nearly 15 years old and frankly the front load washer was all rusty on the bottom and stinky. Thing leaked from the day we bought it. I was hesitant to do another front load, but our laundry room is set up to stack and loved that this unit was all in one. I do the maintenance it says to do, so I fully expect to get 15 years out of this one too!

I love it so far - time will be the true test

I bought my wash tower when I first started the reconstruction of my home. It fit perfectly into my laundry room and I had heard great reports about LG. My daughters encouraged my purchase and when I started using it, I was just as pleased with all of its many functions.
When I gifted my daughter and son-in-law with a new pantry, our first purchase was a LG wash tower for it. She had fallen in love with mine. Now her husband and son, who do their own laundry, love the wash tower as much as we do. It is easy to load. Set for the fnstion wanted and quickly completes its task.. So we are now a happy family with 2 LG wash towers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We put this unit in an upstairs closet.  Doing the laundry in our basement became too much of a safety issue as we are both in our 70's.  Laundry is a much more convient task. Also the unit does an excellent job.

excellent capacity/compact size

In our last home, we enjoyed using a front load LG washer and dryer for many years. The home we moved into two years ago came with an old style top load washer and dryer with limited features.  We have known that we had an option to install laundry equipment in an upstairs area by our bedrooms (roughed in to receive it), but the space would only accept a stacked installation.  The problem with that was the inconvenient access to the dryer controls by my vertically challenged wife (5').  We were delighted when we discovered the LG Washtower model that places controls for both machines in the middle.  We've had it installed for a couple of weeks now, and absolutely love everything about it.  While our main reason for choosing the Washtower was the location of the controls, we are wowed by so many other advancements including the amazing communication between machines.  We are happy to be cheerleaders for LG!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had our Washer/Dryer Tower for about 3 weeks and really like them.  It is nice having one on top of the other.  It makes it much easier to move laundry from the bottom to the top.  And these don't stick so far out into the room.  It is clean looking with the black glass digital control bar.  I like that the washer doesn't tie sleeves and pant legs into a huge knot.  AND it is quiet.  When we remodel and move to the hall next to the bedroom, I know we will appreciate that aspect.  Is it perfect?  The lint removal in the dryer leaves the door's seal covered in line and while lint is mostly concentrated on the lint screen, it seems there is lint accumulated other places as well.   I am quite surprised the washer did not come with a Permanent Press cycle.  And I would like be able to download more than one additional program.  As someone with a large furry dog and a cat, I would like it if the washer also had a lint catcher.  I had a washer that did that once, a long time ago, and it was the greatest feature.  Haven't found any brand of washer that has that feature since then.  We are remodeling our laundry area, so no photos yet, because it isn't done.

The instruction manual could be improved.  There is no index for every feature, and some features are addressed in 2 - 3 different areas of the manual, so when you try to look them up, you don't find all the ins and outs of that feature in one spot.

Quiet Never Sounded So Good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my LG washtower.  It saves us so much room in the garage where the washer/dryer hookups are located.  I am still learning how to use the app with it, but it's cool.  It does a great job on cleaning our laundry.  The only downfall I can see is there is a design flaw around the dryer door and you do have to clean the lint off around the edges of the door after every load.  Other than that, so far, so good!

A Real Space Saver!

We have had our Washtower installed for a little over a month.  We decided to switch to this unit as our laundry area is pretty small & this fits perfectly. We are very pleased with the performance, I actually like the fact that the cycles are shorter than my previous washer & dryer, while still doing a good job of cleaning.  We installed ourselves and it went quite easily.

It leaked! You expect people to get on the floor to drain the wash tub? The hose is too short and you need to be on your hands and knees to do this? This is the best you can do? What engineers dreamed that up? Pregnant women, older adults, disabled are expected to get a low pan, get on the floor, drain it with a short hose? What were you thinking? I’m so irritated, I sent it back.
