The perfect amount of lemons. Each lemon is a nice size and quality. Great price at Sam’s! I wash and dry them, put in a well sealed bpa free plastic (or glass) container, layered with paper towels-they last for months in the fridge.

Perfect Amount of Quality Lemons

These juicy lemons were the secret ingredient at my daughter's lemonade stand! While most grocery stores are asking $1 per lemon, Sam's offers this high quality bag of lemons for a reasonable price.

I enjoy having fresh lemon juice available for a variety of uses.  We drink a lot of sweet tea & lemon juice is a must.  I use lemon juice in preparation of many of the meats that I serve my family.  I prefer fresh squeezed over bottled lemon juice.  I also think the vitamin C provided is good for our bodies.

Very Good + A Great Bargain!

The yellow colored packaging can obscure spoiling lemons. I have purchased some that didn't last as long as I think they should have and after I found one in the bunch already molded or becoming hard.

Packaging can be deceptive

I love these lemons but you have to check the package for bad ones. I ordered them on line to pick up and did not choose the bag myself. Unfortunately whoever selected it at the store did not check for spoiled ones. Next time I will just pick them myself.

Not a good experience

Although I made a point of actually looking at each lemon as well as one can through the bag, I still ended up getting four out of the bag that were beyond ripe and produced some really nasty juice that was brown. I purchase lemons specifically for the juice and the zest. The zest was fine from all but one of the lemons, but the juice was bad from four of them. I won’t be purchasing these again.

Beware

Make sure you look the package over very good. I only looked at the front side of the bag. When I was putting them in my car, I discovered that there was mold on the back. It took me longer to exchange them then it did to shop (over 20 mins)

Mold on lemons

The last two bags I’ve ordered have seemed fine upon delivery, but at least half the lemons are absolutely covered in a green/white mold within a couple days. It happens so quickly that you don’t even notice until they’re all affected.

Molding at warp speed

3 of them were rotten, I counted 11 in the bag 3 of which were rotten, with white mole and smelled bad! This is the second time Ived gotten bas lemons, even after I specifically asked to check all produce and to include vetables and dairy products. Wasted money paying for rotten food that could not be utilized!
