Got this for my 12 year old and 5 year old to use. It easily adjusts and is a great addition to our yard.

We bought this and have really enjoyed using it kids and adults alike…the adjustable crank broke and we called Lifetime and they replaced it for free! Would highly recommend this system and Lifetime. The unit arrived looking OK but during installation I realized one of the parts was bent during shipping.  Even though I purchased online through a sporting goods store, I dealt directly with Lifetime Products customer service, and with no hassle or hesitation she put in an order to ship me a replacement part.  The representative was knowledgable and helpful at every step.  I don't have a finished product yet as I'm awaiting the new part, but I can tell from what I have so far that the quality is very high and the installation instructions are clear.

Great Customer Service

I purchased and installed this basketball system a few months ago.  It seems to be of good quality and the instructions were easy to follow.  I suggest you purchase a few additional bags of concrete to be certain you have enough to finish the job.  I calculated the concrete requirements and purchased 3 additional bags in advance.  Glad I did because I used it all.

Good quality and relatively easy to install.

I bought a tempered glass hoop system about a month ago. I came outside one morning and it was shattered. I have no idea why or how but I imagine it was something on the mischievous side. I called up lifetime directly to see if they would allow me to just order the backboard. I didn’t expect anything to be under warranty because I don’t know how it happened. They let me know what I already knew by telling me there isn’t a warranty on the glass. Then they proceeded to ship me a new one as long as I paid shipping. Again I wasn’t asking or expecting this. I will not buy a basketball goal from another company.

Customer service through lifetime was above what was necessary

The unit we purchased appeared to have been opened and taped shut.  After fully assembling the Basketball hoop, we noticed the height adjustment sticker that goes on the crank adjustment assembly was missing.  I contacted customer service via chat and they promptly mailed me one.  My son loves it and is usually out there every day after the Texas heat relents.

Directions were clear and I used both booklet and YT video. Impressive curb appeal when all said and done. No complaints so far. You can assemble it mostly by yourself until you need to attach the backboard and lift it up into place.

Comes in 1 box. Just level out your concrete plate and the rest will level out when installing - no need to monkey with the nuts.

Only concern or curiosity I have is bolt AEO on the base plate has no instructions for final assembly. Not sure the purpose of it.

Post does have wobble after shots but this does not affect the game. It’s awesome and a lot of fun.

Hoop it up

excited about the hoop, poured concrete and set anchor.  Did assembly 1 week later, but got to step 4 for handle assembly and found out the 1 bolt does not have threads so couldn't go any further.  So Stopped,  emailed Lifetime, and now is waiting for replacement part....

Defect Part or Just Bad QC/QA

The net was installed as per the instruction. Others have reviewed this saying it was wobbly. I took the chance thining it would be better than our movable one. This is significantly worse. The product looks nice, instruction were decent, but it shakes for atleast 30 seconds after every shot. Everyone that comes over to use it has noticed it. Terrible product

Disappointed

The box came partly smashed which should have been an indicator of problems to come.
I started putting the pole together and when I got up to the lower extension arm assembly, i saw that that it was totally bent out of shape.
Obviously there is a quality assurance problem at lifetime if they can let something like this get out.
