Best prices we have found on this sanitizer. The down side is You have to follow the directions to effectively sanitize items in the washing machine, which means waiting on the rinse cycle to add and then pause the machine for 15 minutes. 
I wouldn't waste the time or money for everyday items, but for guest bedding, diapers, and kitchen towels it's a great idea.

This product has completely transformed my laundry routine! I've always struggled with that persistent, musty smell in workout clothes, towels, and even bedding, no matter how much detergent or fabric softener I used. The Lysol Laundry Sanitizer Additive was the solution I had been searching for.

Using it is incredibly simple—you just add it to the fabric softener dispenser after your detergent, and it goes to work in the rinse cycle. The difference is night and day. Clothes come out smelling genuinely clean and fresh, not just masked with a fragrance. It's especially amazing for activewear; that lingering sweat odor is finally gone, and I feel confident knowing that germs are being eliminated.

It’s also been a lifesaver for my son's hockey gear and my dog's blankets. What used to require multiple washes now comes out of the machine smelling like new with a single cycle. This is the best stuff for laundry needs since laundry soap!! It not only deodorizes but it adds a great scent and bounce offs softness that not other product can. And it’s allergen safe- so far! It’s a complete need- a fulfillment to our laundry routine now! When I find it in sale I try to stock up!

We use it for towels, sheets, and anytime someone has been ill. We found using the large bottle to refill a smaller one makes it more convenient and easy to use.

No matter how much I washed my towels, they always have this musty smell and I do only use the dryer. But no matter how hard I dried these or thoroughly I dried these, I couldn't get rid of this musty smell. This has been fabulous

Laundry Sanitizer

The category "Germs" throws me off. There are supposedly NO GERMS with this product so I don't know whether to say Germs are 1 star (because they are all gone but zero stars isn't a choice) or 5 stars because the product's GERM KILLING properties are so good.  I started using it during the days of COVID and kept on because of the clean fragrance.  No need to worry if you don't get around to moving the laundry to the dryer right away. It still smells fresh with this product.  I like this huge size; very economical.

Great for families and flu season!!!! If you have a potty training child or pet,  or have family members who might have an accident,  OR if your family keeps getting sick I highly recommend using this. It gets rid of odors,  isn't strongly scented, and I've had no issues with my sensitive skin or with other family members.

This is a great product. Don't have to worry about bleaching out colored clothes and I just put it in the spot that the fabric softener goes and it gets put on the clothes after the final rinse. I use it for every load of laundry.

Use all the time

I used this for the first time this week and liked the way it made the wash smell. I only gave it a 4-star because I wasn't sure it cleaned the wash any better, but it definitely let a nice clean smelling wash.

If you are impressed by Lysol’s anti-bacterial properties there is an alternative solution available in a much less costly product.   It is called white vinegar.  It also helps soften your clothes and does not have the clothes.damaging effect that the Lysol has.
