Sent sour 6 days before best by date, first time ever

2% milk

Once in a while a bad batch is sure to hit the shelves. It's happened to me  several times over the years. My recent gallon of 2% milk didn't last to the best if used by date, leaving a sour taste in my mouth. Sams owes me a free gallon, lol.

We had a bad experience with Sam’s milk a few years ago and decided give it another try. Before smell and taste was bad after open a few days. This time smell was ok after two days but the taste was horrible. We normally buy Wal-mart milk and don’t have any issues. Sam’s milk WILL NOT be going back on the shopping list. Tired of just dumping milk down the drain.

Milk goes bad in just a few days.

The milk goes bad way before the expiration date. The reason is milk gallons in dairy section are exposed to the room temperature. Please move milk to the freezer area where the surrounding temperature can be around 36 degrees. I will never buy milk from Sam’s unless this action is carried out.

Milk goes bad taste prematurely

I don’t know what is going on with this Manufacture, the milk is spoiling way before the date marked !!! It is disgusting 🤮 to pour milk into your coffee and it’s spoiled ! Coffee is to expensive to be disposed of because the milk is spoiled!!!

Milk spoiled a few days after opening, threw out 2 full gallons waste of $$$$... They changed not for the better won't be buying anymore milk here...

I used to go out of my way to buy from here because it would stay fresh longer, quite the opposite now...
Bring back the sealed jugs PLEASE!!

I fear new packaging and or supplier is a reduction in quality. When I have bought milk from Sam’s in the past, it is usually good for a few days after the use by date. On this one, it was sour and extremely curdled two days before they used by date. At home, I never leave milk out on the counter. But maybe it was stored off temperature at the warehouse or by the delivery person.

Bad Milk

The milk taste fresh, and creamier than other brands for the 2% reduced fat milk, not as sweet as other brands, so you know that they don't add a lots of extra sugar in it.
