Where is Member’s Mark Chicken + Brown Rice Recipe Dry Dog Food made? All Member's Mark Dry Dog Food is made here in the USA with locally and globally sourced ingredients.
Transitioning
How much dry dog food does my pup need? To make it easy to measure out, you can use an 8-oz. container for each cup of food and use the handy guide on the back of the bag with feeding suggestions by weight. Dogs have different calorie requirements based on their age, activity level and lifestyle. Feed to maintain an ideal lean body condition and work with your veterinarian to determine an appropriate weight and adjust feeding amounts as necessary. Remember to keep plenty of fresh water available to your pet at all times. How do I properly transition? Transitions should be gradual, so start by reducing the amount of the current diet and increasing the amount of the new diet for 7-10 days until complete. For dogs with a sensitive stomach, up to 14 days of transition may be necessary. This allows sensitive tummies to adjust to the new ingredients. If you notice their stool become too soft or watery, slow the transition until your dog can adjust. This can sometimes take an additional few days at the current ratio. Days 1-2: 25% New Food Days 3-4: 50% New Food Days 5-6: 75% New Food Days 7-10: 100% New Food How long will the food last once I have opened the bag? After opening, dry dog food typically lasts up to 6-8 weeks. To support prolonged freshness, you may place the bag in an air-tight, food-safe storage container. Always store in a cool, dry place and avoid excess heat or moisture.
FAQ
My dog just threw up after eating? Many dogs may have sensitive tummies during transitions and others just get so excited over their new food that they eat too quickly. Make sure to follow the longer transition and feeding guidelines to ease the change. However, please contact your veterinarian about any major concerns. I noticed my dog’s stool looks different? When transitioning foods, it is normal to have some changes in your pup’s stool. Some dogs may get diarrhea due to a fast transition. Others may have softer or larger stools or the color may be different. Make sure to follow the longer transition time to ease the change. Over time your dog’s stool quality should improve as they adjust to the new diet. However, please contact your veterinarian about any major concerns. How do probiotics and prebiotic fiber improve kibble? Prebiotics are specialized types of fiber that move through the digestive tract, creating energy for the good bacteria in your dog’s gut. This can help the beneficial gut bacteria thrive. Questions or Comments? We would love to hear about your Member's Mark experience! Visit us at: samsclub.com/membersmarkhelp

Adopted a very sick Aussie mix that had Parvovirus. The vet recommended a chicken and brown rice food for easy digestion on her healing intestinal tract and stomach. I had been using the Lamb Members Mark dog food for my collie and heeler. All 3 dogs loved the chicken recipe as well and it has more glucosamine than the lamb which is better for my older 80lb collie.
I'm very happy with the whole line of MM brand of dog foods. Comparable to Victor and Diamond brand and my dogs definitely prefer it over Victor.
I also love that I can do curbside pickup and the bag is loaded up for me. Much better than lifting up and over a shopping cart.

High Quality Members Mark Dog Food

Love this dog food. It has worked wonders for our dogs. We used to by the cheaper food but our dogs were not gaining any weight and always hungry. Started them on this and they are at a healthy weight, their coats are shinny and they are active and playful with no dietary struggles.

Worth the money

I have two full grown dogs (7 and 10), and they both love this food. They both have different energy and activity levels, and I don't have any issues with weight maintenance using this food. They both have shiny coats, good energy levels, and are happy pups.

Great dog food- happy we made the switch!

My dog kept getting very sick while eating Pedigree dog food. It started out mildly, but then she would just throw up a lot and wouldn’t eat for a few days, as well as getting diarrhea weekly. She’s a GSD adult. I decided after reading about the brand she was currently on, you should REALLY pay attention to the ingredients in your pets food. Once i switched to this brand Members Mark Chicken & Rice, she’s not been sick at all. She’s been eating this brand now for a little over 6 months. She’s so much healthier now.

Great Dog Food

I’ve used this dog food before and then Sams stopped carrying it. I’m so happy they have it back in stock. It’s great for my dog. Gives him a beautiful shiny coat. And also, you don’t have to feed as much as this is a good quality dog food. Definitely go by the recommended amount on the bag.

Quality dog food at a great price

This food is well made for kibble and does not make my dog gassy (heavily processed and cheap dog food brands make her gassy!) Kirkland brand in particular makes my dog have very stinky gas and I feel bad feeding it to her. I’m glad Sam’s cares about their ingredients.

Good for dog, doesn’t give her gas!

I bought this originally because one of my dogs is allergic to peas, and I have always trusted this brand with other things. My dogs seemed to like it, but they started having loose stools. So I’m in the process of switching to Victor‘s dog food and have already seen some improvement.

Digestive issues

my dogs refuse to eat this!! spitting it out. they normally eat dry food as is , we have tried putting water on it, gravy on it, rice .. they absolutely hate this stuff.. never will buy it again . was told we could not return it, we only wanted to exchange for a different flavor

worse dog food ever

Don't use this product cause both of my dogs to get sick after first use. Taught maybe it was just a coincidence that it could have just from the switch regular food but tried another brand with no issues tried again then sure enough sick again. Would not purchase again total waste of $50.

Terrible

We have bought this food for our dog for 10+ years but the last bag we bought must have been a bad batch. Incredible digestive problems right after we opened the new bag...solved when we stopped using it. Q!uality control problem caused us to lose faith in this product.

What happened to our dog's fav food?
