Great Tail!

You don't boil lobster tails like a whole lobster. You broil them . If you do then it turns out like mush.

wrong way to cook

I try very hard to pick out the best ones and I really don’t know what I’m doing but I must be pretty lucky because I’ve never had a bad one. They are lovely. I boil them and then when they’re almost cooked cover them with butter and broil them cut them right out of the shell to serve. Pick ‘n Save‘s are too small vendor on hwy 100 and Beloit are too big and mushy (sorry) i’m sure he means well. But the Sam’s Club deals are perfect. Never had a bad one knock on wood. I know it can happen, but again knock on wood.

Get ready to melt (the butter) :)

Bought 4 lobster tails. I opened them up and the smell was awful we had to put them outside to unthaw. 1 was a totally different color and when cooked them on the grill one feel apart into tiny pieces and the smell was bad. Out of 4 tails only 2 were good we couldn't even eat 2 because of the smell and taste. We eat a lot of lobster I would not get them again from Sam's

Smell bad

Bought 4 tails for New Years. Almost $70! Boiled as usual, but quality was from great to horrible. One was perfect, one was darker (but acceptable), one was “fleshy” and another was MUSH! ) literally poured out of shell like cottage cheese. Not a pleasant experience.

Mushy and Inedible
