<h3>Flavor Profile</h3> <ul> <li> <ins>Aroma:</ins> Ripe boysenberry</li> <li> <ins>Taste:</ins> Juicy blackberry and sweet blueberry notes</li> <li> <ins>Body:</ins> Medium full body that is rich and velvety on the palette</li> <li> <ins>Finish:</ins> Subtle spice with tobacco notes adds to the complexity, with refined tannins</li> </ul> <h3>Sustainability</h3> With select Member’s Mark™ wines, makers are no longer incorporating wine capsules, the protective sleeves on the neck of a wine bottle over the cork, in their bottling processes. These caps have long been a decorative or branding piece, offering little value to the contents in the bottle. We estimate that the use of wine caps in the selected wines produces approximately 3.5 metric tons of non-recyclable waste every year. We hope this change will influence our suppliers to make more innovations in sustainable packaging. <h3>All About the Member's Mark Brand</h3> At Sam's Club, we put our members first. That means you! To serve wine using this exquisite set, ensure the glasses are clean and polished, pour the wine down the side of the glass filling it to about a third or half, and serve at the appropriate temperature (60-65°F for red wines and 49-55°F for white wines). Arrange the filled glasses on a tray or dining table for an attractive presentation, and encourage your guests to swirl and savor the wine to enhance the overall experience. <h3>The Five S’s of Sampling Wine</h3> The Five S's of sampling wine are a comprehensive approach used by wine enthusiasts and professionals to fully experience and appreciate different wines. By following the Five S's of wine sampling, individuals can engage their senses and develop a deeper understanding and enjoyment of the wine's characteristics. It also allows for a more structured and systematic approach to evaluating and discussing wines. "See" refers to observing the wine's appearance, noting its color, clarity, and viscosity. This can provide insights into the age, grape variety, and winemaking techniques used. "Swirl" involves gently swirling the wine in the glass to release its aromas and enhances the overall tasting experience. This will also oxygenation the wine opening up the flavor and aromas. Additionally, it can help determine the body or viscosity of the wine by observing how it coats the sides of the glass. "Sniff," where you bring the glass to your nose and inhale deeply, identifying different scents and aromas. Different wines can have a wide range of aromas, including fruits, flowers, spices, herbs, or even earthy notes. By sniffing the wine, you can begin to discern its complexity and potential flavors. "Sip" is the moment to take a small sip, allowing the wine to coat your palate and evaluating its taste and texture. Notice the balance between acidity, sweetness, and tannins. This step also allows you to assess the wine's finish or aftertaste. "Savor" involves taking your time to fully appreciate the wine's flavors, noting any complexities or subtleties that emerge as it lingers on your palate. Consider the overall balance and harmony of the wine. <h3>Member’s Mark Made Without Commitment™</h3> This item meets our Member’s Mark Made Without Commitment™: Our Member’s Mark Made Without Commitment makes it easier to know what is not in our products, so members can feel better about what is. We simplify the choice for our members by setting a high brand standard for the products they bring into their homes. Flavor

Value For Money

Was fresh, and had good flavor and aroma. Used it as an ingredients in cooking my spagetti sauce. Flavor came through pretty nice in the cooked sauce. Would buy again. I live in CA wine country and have sampled many wines during the years... this one is a good one.

Liked it a lot

This wine certainly was a surprise for me. It’s full of flavor, smooth and best of all, inexpensive. If you’re not a wine connoisseur but just like a full bodied wine, save some money and give it a try. Yes, I would recommend this to friends.

Nice smooth flavor

really good semi-dry Merlot with a fruity finish. Comparable to other more expensive Merlot I've tried in the past. Even though I am not a Sommelier, I enjoyed this wine and thought he price on it was very favorable and the wine was an outstanding quality

Excellent wine at a good price

This is a solid merlot. It is medium bodied, dry with a touch of fruity sweetness on the finish. This is from Columbia Valley, WA like other notable vinters such as H3, Chateau St. Michelle, 14 Hands, etc. and at a VERY good price :D

Taste per dollar: 4/5 stars.

Washington wine reigns supreme

Nice wine

You will out believe the value, the tase and make of this wine. I am a wine snob and highly impressed with this wine!

AMAZING WINE AND VALUE

This is a really decent Merlot. We tried one bottle, just to make sure we like it. We have since purchased 4 bottles of this wine as we like the taste very much and the fact that Sam's has it at a very reasonable price.

Great wine!

Nice price and gooe enough....

Value

Not good when first opened, extremely bitter, astringent. Mellowed slightly after bottle open for a day.

Would not buy again
