We absolutely love this pesto! I hope they always carry it but just in case i bought a second jar and froze it in smaller portions. I used to make my own from basil i grew myself but this is just as fresh and soooo much easier. It has a very bright basil flavor with lots of pine nuts and parmesan which is how we like it.

Love this Pesto!

This is the best basil pesto I've ever had (and I've taste-tested a lot). It may not be as good as your homemade version, but I'll bet you can't find one that's closer, especially if you take the price into account. You'll also note this pesto is in a 22 oz. jar - most of the jars are barely enough for one use whereas you can get 3+ from this jar.

Excellent pesto. I will definitely buy it again. 
The texture is good and the flavors are bright, fresh, crisp & it isn’t too garlicky which I like. It isn’t sticky in the mouth or have a bad aftertaste. My guests didn’t smell of garlic after dinner. Pairs well with a Pinot Grigio. 
Unfortunately most of it must be packed & frozen but that just means I’ll have more in the future.

Excellent product

We buy Member's Mark Pesto Sauce and keep it on hand for easy meals after work.  You can add it to any pasta with some chicken sausage for a great tasting meal.  One bottle lasts a long time.

Fresh Basil

This pesto is really very nice. Well balanced flavor in my opinion. I like it on pasta and gnocchi, roasted potatoes, also on raw veggies like sliced or grape tomatoes or even with some bagel chips.

I love pesto! And Sam’s clubs is delicious! I use it  awesome on toast, a spread for sandwiches, on chicken, pasta, and vegetables. It’s just a quick easy go to.

Yummy and so many uses!

Better than the WM great value; definitely had a better flavor profile. Is it the best I've had, no. Strange that the same parent company has such different products, because great value pesto is trash.
Bright basil and Parmesan on the nose when you open it. Garlic and Parmesan foreword with basil a little milder than you'd expect from a pesto on the palate. Brightly flavored, decent pesto, would buy again.

Decent pesto, would buy again

Not the best tasting pesto I’ve ever had (has a weird aftertaste), and the oil choices are questionable, but if you just can’t be bothered to make your own or find another brand, this will do in a pinch. I likely won’t buy again, but I was pressed for time and had to make a quick decision on a ready made pesto.

OK In A Pinch

This has an overwhelmingly strong parmesan flavor, which I suppose may be good or bad, depending on what you’re looking for.  I wound up eating and enjoying it, but it’s not what I expect of pesto.  It’s also made with more seed oils than olive oil – which is not healthy, but I also just expect pesto to be based in olive oil.

Strong Parmesan Flavor

I don't know how they can even call this a Basil Pesto. I call it an oily garlic sauce. One should be able to taste the Basil, Pine nuts, Parmesano Reggiano cheese with just hint of garlic. I like it with a little lemon juice as well. There was none of this deliciousness, only Garlic! It ruined my dinner! I purchased a pesto sauce a few years ago from Sam's and it was okay, but this was horrible!
