The table stands 30"H and keeps a compact 48"W x 48"D footprint to suit smaller kitchens and dining areas while still offering a comfortable surface for daily use.

Expandable Table with Self-Storing Butterfly Leaf

The table includes a self-storing butterfly leaf that expands the tabletop from 48"W to 64"W (48"D x 30"H). This style of leaf is stored within the table and opens to extend the surface when you need additional seating, then closes away for a 48" square setup.

Comfortable Seating with Easy-Clean Performance Fabric

Six dining chairs complete the set, combining the walnut finish with ivory upholstered cushions. The flat-woven upholstery has a subtle heather and casual linen look, while the custom performance fabric is made to be easy to clean, stain-resistant, and water repellant. Each assembled chair measures 21"W x 23"D x 36.5"H.

Care and Everyday Maintenance

Wipe up moisture promptly and dry with a soft cloth, as moisture and heat can damage any wood finish. Use coasters and trivets to help protect surfaces. Weekly brushing or vacuuming helps keep the set looking its best, and keeping it away from direct sunlight is recommended to prevent fading.

Member’s Mark Made Without Commitment™

This item meets our Member’s Mark Made Without Commitment™: Our Member’s Mark Made Without Commitment makes it easier to know what is not in our products, so members can feel better about what is. Love, Love, Love this dining room set!! It arrived on time, was packaged very well. It does take a while to put together (the chairs). The table is quick and easy to assemble and so are the chairs they just have many more screws.

The set is gorgeous and just a great addition. I simply love that the leaf is hidden and self storing (BIG plus for me). I love that it is the perfect size for the 2 of us then when the kids come over we can extend it to fit everyone!!!

This is a GREAT price and buy! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

My favorite part of this table is the self storing extension . Extending or retracting can be done with one person. No need to have a space to store the extension anywhere else. Assembly instructions were easy to follow. The only down side to this table is really the fabric on the chairs. The light color and type of fabric will get dirty easily.

Self storing extension

The set is very smart looking and fits in our space well. The only drawback is the base. It's difficult to move the chairs because of the + base. It was a bit of a challenge removing the chairs and table from the cardboard. I had no problem putting the table and chairs together but the table was heavy to move around to attach the base.

Mostly satisfied

Looks good and good material. The table legs are really not really built for 6 chairs. It feels like sitting at an awkward corner where you are not sure how to place the chair. This is not clear in the photo. Also, with the 4 chairs, the chairs stays out instead of staying flush with the table.

Looks good but could be functionally better.

Though the chairs had plastic covers on them, two had black smudges. When the table is open and the leaf in place there is a slight 1/8 inch space where the two pieces do not come together. I used this for staging a home, so it worked well.

Liked he white chairs for Staging a Vacant Home

We bought this set from only seeing it on the website. The store did not have it set up in the store. Everything had to be assembled. The chairs do not sit in close enough to the table because of the way the table is designed. We would not buy this set again. The delivery people did not ring our doorbell and we did not even know they had delivered the boxes. Each box weighed 125 lbs and they were on a pallet. We had to unpack the boxes in the driveway and were left with a lot of cardboard and a pallet. I called the delivery company but they were of no help. Horrible delivery service.

Would not recommend this set or delivery

The table and chairs arrived when scheduled, my wife and I loved the chairs, the table arrived with damage to the table. Apparently the table had been dropped, the bottom part of the table that sits on the floor was badly cracked, and the extension leaf was damaged and broken.
I attempted to contact someone by calling the help phone number but I was unable to speak with a person. The delivery man took pictures of the box, an act that should have alerted me of possible damage to the table.

Damaged on arrival.

scratches very easy, all we did was put a glass on the table on it, scratched up the table after playing a board game. We noticed that the cups left scratches.

scratches very easy

One of the chairs had mismatching parts. Called sam;s club support twice with no resolution even after long waits on the phone. On the 2nd call, the representative offered to send a replacement of the entire set. I already spent hours to assemble the set I received and was not willing to go through the same ordeal. Not sure why it is so difficult to replace a defective part or chair.

Mismatching chair part

Bought the table by ordering it online. When it came the top was damaged. Called Customer Care. Was assured I’d get a replacement. I took pics and sent and was told I’d get a new table I haven’t heard from them! It’s been 2 weeks.

Customer care really don’t!!!
