Found these next to the peaches. These pears are huge and really good. I love them with my cottage cheese.  Yum

Good looking fruit.  Good taste.  Great change from other fruits.  Easy light snack. Should have strong hands to open it.  It can be a little awkward to handle because it's a heavy jar.

These pears are so good.  We got the peaches also but we really loved the taste and texture of these pears the best.  We go through a jar each week and such a great price. Try them i you loves pears, they are super good.

My only regret about this purchase is that it's likely a seasonal item that will disappear soon.  These bartlett pear halves in juice and light syrup have become a morning mainstay in our house as well as the occasional late night or other time refreshing, hydrating treat.  It may or may not be any better value than canned pears but these are attractively, invitingly packaged in glass jar with the decorative paper  . . . well, whatever you call the paper thing that covers the metal jar top, it gives it just a suggestion of a home-made product and it makes for a modest priced treat suitable for more than token gifting, and one that will be enjoyed.  Yeah, a little verbose for a jar of fruit but we really love those things.

Several pear halves were so unripe they were crunchy.

Not much flavor and some were mushy. I would not buy them again.

Not worth the money

The pears are mushy. I ate one half pear and I realized that I could not eat anymore. What a waste of my money. I had eaten the peaches by the same brand a while back and they were delicious. However, Sam’s have not had them since. I hate it when that happens.
