I was skeptical getting my husband’s protein for his lunches from Sam’s. I can report the quality was outstanding in comparison to our local meat market. I do look at the packages just like you would any other meat purchase. I try to get the freshest. We’ve also cooked it a variety of ways from grilled on charcoal, slow on a gas grill, and air fryer. It’s all been tender without marinade. I encourage you to try it.

Definitely a must try and great purchase for us.

Just okay.  Lots of tough fat and silver skin on the outside edges that needed removed.  No marbeling through the meat. Not very tender for what was labeled prime beef. The package I purchased may have been mislabeled.

Don’t recommend the prime sirloin

When I opened this package of steaks and turned them over one had a very large fat portion that was completely hidden when I bought the package of steaks.  This is a deceptive and unacceptable packaging practice. I expect better from Sam's Club

Deceptive packaging hides big fat portion

The meat looked good and I was hoping it would taste as good as it looked. The meat turned out to be pretty tough and I cooked it to a medium rare so it wasn't over cooked. I was disappointed but I guess I will get over it. I'll think twice before I buy again.

Prime beef Sirloin Tough and not tasty

Bought the steaks on sale and spoke with one of the meat cutters about the tenderness of the steak.
Unfortunately we were quite disappointed with the flavor as well as the toughness of the steak.  We have had choice Sirloin steaks many times and know what the cut of meat is like.  This prime beef was not any better than the choice cuts of meat we have had.  Why pay a lot more for prime cut of beef when there is almost no difference than a  choice cut.

Prime Sirloin

A "prime" grade meat implies superior marbling and tenderness, not tough ligaments. Tire paying prime prices for gristle.

Prime Steaks should be the best

Do not recommend this prime sirloin.  It was too tough for grilling.  I ended putting it in the slow cooker for six hours

Pass this by.  Not worth the money.

Beef Top sirloin meat tray’s with a lot of residual fat, it supposed to be prime meat

Low quality beef top sirloin

Purchased a package of sirloin prime steaks four to a package about $32 for the package.  Absolutely terrible steaks they tasted bland. They were very, very rough and edible. They had fiber and tissue throughout the steak that you could not even cut with a steak knife. I will never purchase these again. I’ll find steaks somewhere else for a prime steak that cost that much no thank you. !

Waste of money

Bland flavor and so tough. Usually sirloin is so good but this pack was not good at all. There was too much connective tissue. Horrible.
