I love the Swtich 2. It is an amazing console/handheld hybrid. It is Nintendo's best work imo. The graphics for the price is amazing. Not quite PS5/Series X quality but it does the job and the games run smooth. I would recommend this to people who are not so picky with graphics and love the switch, joycons, and nintendo first party titles. Also, the Joycon 2 have a mouse mode which enables you to have the precision of a mouse for aiming and the freedom of movement of a control stick for moving the character with the other Joycon 2. Best of both worlds. And perfect balance between Mouse and Controller. Kids would love this console/handheld hybrid with the wide variety of kid friendly games like Mario Kart, Zelda, Metroid, and Fortnite. But also adults would love Cyberpunk 2077 and the 450$ price point is great compared to the 600 to 700 dollar competition.  It might not be as flashy as a PC but costs less than half the price of a decent PC. And you still get Ray Tracing in games like CyberPunk 2077. Transition from Docked to Handheld or Tabletop modes is instantaneous. If you previously had gotten a Switch and still have it you can set the two next to each other and share data and games between the two. Virtual game cards is like having a physical copy minus being able to trade it in or sell it. So you can only use that game on one console at a time. If you go to a different console then you have to "eject" the virtual game card and "put it in" the other console. Which is the only flaw in my opinion. Hogwarts Legacy has a mouse mode that is dynamic so you can switch on the fly without going into menus. Right to the control stick. The Joycons are MUCH bigger this time around. And they are much more enjoyable to use. Please do not forget the Joycon 2 attachments for the mouse mode as I scratched the side of the controller by not doing that immediately. Plus they have straps so you don't accidentally throw them. Nintendo Online   expansion pack is 50 dollars for a year which is significantly less than say PS plus Premium which also includes classics for 150 dollars a year. The expansion pack includes classics from NES to SNES to N64 to Gamecube. And more GameCube games are going to be added in the future. Currently there are five with two versions each. My favorite amongst them is Soul Caliber II with Link. I loved that game as a child and I still love the game now. And instead of not learning from my mistakes and learning the move sets, I am much older now and can easily grasp the challenges. So I encourage everyone to try past titles to see how they have improved. lol. Plus they look great on a 4k tv. Zelda the wind waker is also available but I have yet to try that. Definitely calibrate your joycons motion controls if you are going to try them out or use them in any fashion. Handheld mode 1080p HDR 120hz screen is awesome btw.

the Nintendo switch 2 is very good I've been using it for some quite time and decided to write a review now the graphic's are great it loads fast and best of all big screen as well on top of it I think it's also a great traveling system or just at home device to go any where with! I highly Recommend it

The Nintendo switch 2 is great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a big purchase for me. It's quite expensive, and I hope to use it for at least as many years as I did its predecessor. So far, it's absolutely wonderful. Very easy and intuitive to set up, and superior in every way (visual, tactile, etc) to the old model.

I really was not going to get a switch 2 this soon. My switch is just fine. Pokopia got me and the fact that more Pokémon games are releasing for only the switch 2. 
The screen is quite a bit larger, the audio has improved a lot. It’s a really luxe feel. That being said, 449$. Nintendo knows what they are doing….pokemon fans like myself are eventually going to spend the stupid price tag for the system to get access to new games. I feel like  fool, but I’m also living my best life on Pokopia so ehhhh I would do it again!

No issues with the product or with the delivery service. The Switch 2 has a nice feel and the controllers snap in place in a very satisfying fashion. I especially like the extended and sturdy built-in stand; it allows for more even weight distribution, making holding the console a much more comfortable experience. I can also use it to lean most of the weight of the console on a cushion on my lap to reduce strain on my wrists. Transferring my account info from my previous console was also very straightforward.

Great little system. Graphics are gorgeous! Easy to navigate around. My only complaint is there's no text chat. Nintendo needs to bring back MiiVerse this system. It would make it the best community engagement system out!

Best Nintendo yet just needs MiiVerse back.

Absolutely love it! I already have a switch oled but I got this one because I have adult money and I can. Anyways, it loads so much faster than my oled switch. I have adhd and when I’d try to play on my oled I would lose interest cause of the loading times and waiting for it to charge up. This charges pretty fast, the battery lasts and loads up pretty fast. Definitely recommend. Plus playing Zelda BOTW on here is beautiful.

I love it!

Upgrade from the original switch. Nice new features including a built-in chat system. Only complaints would be the price and the lack of switch2 games out currently. They do help this by updating a lot of the older titles to benefit from the switch2 hardware.

Feels nice in the hands, decently more powerful than the original Switch lineup; unfortunately the main caveats are:

-The Joycon 2 still use industry standard carbon resistive thumbsticks, so they will potentially suffer from the exact same stick drift issues (some people supposedly already have stick drift problems).

-The Switch 2's built-in screen looks good, even for an LCD panel, when viewing still images; but to cram an 8-inch 120hz panel into that somewhat slim 450$ price point, the screen has poor pixel response times (leading to ghosting in most and noticeable latency in some games).

Overall a good system for the price rivaling the PS4 or Xbone/XBSS in terms of power and visuals.

Powerful little gaming machine with caveats

The hardware itself is fantastic. The S2 is a huge improvement over the S1. The overall feel is better, the CPU and GPU are better, as is the larger screen. 

My only concern is that the cost of entry is high - the console itself is expensive, as are the peripherals and games. And the cost of all of these items will likely increase as time goes on due to market conditions. 

The game library for the S2 is also thin at the moment. I bought the system now to get ahead of any potential price increases, even though there are currently very few first party games I’m interested in playing. I’m looking forward to the eventual Zelda and Mario releases though.

High quality hardware lacking in first party games

Not worth the purchase, don’t switch from OG Nintendo switch to the 2. It barely connects to my tv on the dock without having to unplug everything from the dock and plug it back in — directions from Nintendo support 
A let down for my son and my whole family 
Started failing within a month of purchase 
Not comparable to the original switch that lasted us for years.  

Don’t waste the money.
