I purchased them in the store the last ones I purchased were shipped to me and half of each sleeve were crushed

Cracker

Knew the crackers were good, but really like the savings of the large box. Great value for the price.

Savory savings

During and after Covid the price of groceries rose and continued to rise. After the presidential election prices decreased very slightly. But companies didn’t want to give up the windfall profits they were making so they decreased the size of the products. ie: a roll of toilet paper is now 1 inch narrower. (Rude!) Ritz crackers are smaller for the same high price. Being smaller they have lost strength and stability. They crumble when you try to spread something on them. They crumble when you bite them without anything on them. They still taste great but don’t expect to use them in all the wonderful ways Ritz advertised how they were the go to for a perfect snack or appetizer for a party.

Delicious as always EXCEPT

We love the flavor of this product. Nice buttery, crisp taste. It is our go-to cracker for all various snacks and dips. However when shipped, too often the crackers are broken up.

Great flavor. Do not have shipped.

Every time I buy another box, it shrinks. Now the sleeves are so short that you need 2 when one used to be enough.

The box keep shrinking.

The taste had change, it spores and sometimes comes too salty or too low salt. What was original, it doesn't existe no more

taste changed

Inside cracker sleeves were not sealed at the factory.

Ooops

They have changed the required labeling for GMO products and you now see a bioengineered label. I wish that Sam’s would provide alternatives.

Read labels carefully

This has nothing to do with Sam's, but it seems like Ritz no longer has good quality control. I generally eat some Ritz crackers for lunch daily and especially when buying the large boxes like this most if not all of the crackers are very bland with no salt at all. These are supposedly original crackers not low salt. I've sent Ritz some comments too. Sadly I may switch brands rather than eat dull crackes.

Very Disappointed

These Are NOT the Ritz Crackers I Remember

I have eaten Ritz crackers since the 1980s and 1990s, and in my opinion, what I purchased recently is NOTHING like the Ritz crackers I remember.

Upon opening the package, I immediately noticed:

They were nearly pale yellow instead of the golden color I remember.

Absolutely tasteless. There was literally NO flavor whatsoever, and I am not exaggerating.

No noticeable salt. And no, I did NOT purchase the salt-free or reduced-salt Ritz. These were regular Ritz crackers.

They crumbled just from picking them up. I actually started intentionally picking them up very slowly and carefully, one at a time, just to see if that would make a difference. It didn't. They still crumbled into pieces.

Unfortunately, I purchased these in a large quantity from Sam's Club, and they are basically useless to me. I can't put anything on them because they fall apart, and they have no flavor to enjoy by themselves.

I remember Ritz being golden, buttery, salty, flavorful, and sturdy enough to actually pick up without crumbling in your hand.

Whatever has changed over the years, this is certainly not the Ritz cracker I remember.

Very disappointing.
