[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The take alongs from rubbermaid are tried and reue. Nothing new with these guys. But they are the traditionaly consistent and easy food storage containers. They are B+ in the fridge, freezer, and microwave. They are cheap as well. The do stain especially from red sauces but otherwise. B+ overall. Onyl things missing is maybe a slightly thicker wall so they hold they up better in freezer and microwave and a thicker plastic that doesnt stain as easy.

My daughter, who is a college student, loves these to take back and forth to her dorm. These are perfect for storing all her food! They are airtight and do not leak at all! Now she can keep her food separate from her roommates! She uses these for dry storage, storage in the fridge & Freezer, and storage on the go! I love the fact that it has a variety of sizes in this set, you cannot go wrong!  They are super easy to use and clean. I loved them so much, I bought another set. Do not hesitate. These are the best containers we have ever had!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to get these because of my daughter's obsession with taking food home and not bringing back my glass bowls. So there I am ready to store leftovers and have nothing to put them in. This Rubbermaid set is her set now - if she wants food, she can take it home in these containers. When she brings them back, she can have more. And if she doesn't bring them back, she doesn't get more.
She loves them because they are leak proof. I can put spaghetti sauce in there and she will put it on her car seat. It hasn't ever leaked onto her seat once. She uses them for everything from soups to sandwiches to salads.
I also use them to store things like bags of sugar and flour. No more flour all over the cabinet. It stays neatly in my Rubbermaid container until I'm ready to use it. It's the perfect solution for it!
I'm sure my daughter will eventually have taken them all and I'll have to buy them again, but that's okay. They're totally worth it!

Very strong

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 40 piece set comes with a wide variety of shapes and with that are perfect for storage. Sometimes even the smallest amount of food is too delicious to be thrown away and you need a very mall container to keep it in and this set has that. The square ones are perfect for holding a hearty sandwich and fits well in a lunchbox. I've had some tip over in the fridge and they didn't leak. The lids are secure and also easy to remove. They stack well within one another for handy storage and less clutter. Being a clear container makes it easy to see what is in it, it takes the guess work out of what you stored inside. Some of the containers have ounce marking on them which is perfect for portion control. I'm very happy with the set and the multiple uses they provide. Not only are they great for food, but there can store craft items, screws, nails, office supplies.

Perfect storage solution

The quality is not consistent.  These lids keep snapping when I put them on or when opened.

Lids break easily

I've bought rubbermaid productrs a few times in the past.  But this has been the worst batch.  The lids are mostly OK, but the containers develope cracks and brweak, sometimes after a single usage.  I should be sent a whole new set of these for free, given how many I've had to throw away out of the set at this point.
