7.4 cu. ft. Smart Electric Dryer with

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pleased with dryer performance, but aesthetics could be improved.  Top of dryer is sloped towards the front, things want to slide off and scratch the surface.  The top of both the washer and dryer have a finish that shows fingerprints, oils, light dirt etc.  If you walk past these…you've put fingerprints on them.  Switching loads from washer to dryer now includes a wipe down of both machines.  Oversight by Samsung, and an annoyance.

Wear white gloves, or else.

I'll say this much... the dryer looks fantastic. I really don't have much else to say though. It was just delivered and while running through the initial "burn-in" run by the installers the inner glass shattered. 
After doing a bit of searching on the Samsung site it appears this is a very common issue with this model dating as far back as 2020. Now ask me why, in 2026, Samsung still hasn't addressed this problem.
Now I have to wait another week for someone to replace the glass door. And then hope it doesn't happen again. 
I'm shocked that Samsung isn't doing more to provide safety and assurance to their customers.

Crying over broken glass

Bought this dryer in August 2025. Have had repairs for the same error (HC) twice most recently on January 9th, 2026. Yesterday (January 22nd) the same error has occurred and the dryer does not have any heat. I have already been inconvenienced twice by customer service to get the same repair done twice and now its expected I have to go through this process a third time for a dryer that is less than 6 months old. This product is pathetic and the customer service is no better. I have been battling with customer support to simply replace the unit as breaking multiple times in less than 6 months of purchase so signify replacement status. As a very loyal Samsung user it is beyond unacceptable to be put through the same repairs with no fix in sight. I just wish customer support would understand that this unit is simply faulty and needs to be fully replaced. It is sad how poor the customer service has gotten.

Faulty dryer customer support refuses to replace

This has got to be the worst dryer I have ever used.  There is a button that ask how dry you want your clothes.  If you chose the highest setting for dryness, you will still have wet spots on them.  The only way to get your clothes dry in this model is to set the dryer on Amount of Time.
