Cleaning Performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its lighweight, very effective specifically for dust and pets hair. Not to noise, and the design is so impressed, have tools for everything.!!

Very effective

Amazing vacuum cleaner, it cleaned my carpet better than it's ever been cleaned, used it on my air conditioner grate, the bathroom fan, it definitely didn't disappoint!

Amazing vacuum cleaner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Shark detect reveal vacuum looks sleek, is light weight, but suction outperformed my well known cordless vacuum. We took the Detect Reveal over our shag rug which was just vacuumed with my old (very expensive) vacuum. Half the crust container was full just from that one rug. I couldn't believe it was that much more powerful than ours. The vacuum's also lighted so you see what you're cleaning, it's super easy to empty, has a longer cord, and gets used daily in my household. Assembly took less than five minutes before we were up and running. The filtration is state of the art, removing allergens and small particles. The only cons are slight- it doesn't stand up when you are done vacuuming unless you break it down into a smaller version which takes time, and of course the cord. You have to consider if that's worth the improvement in vacuuming. For us, the cords long enough that it's not a big deal and my house is much cleaner!

Great suction in a light weight model

Small light weight great suction easy to clean car with or in tight places cord is plenty long all around great vaccum.

All the vaccum you need

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This corded stick vacuum is excellent; it has good capacity, is easy to maneuver, and is lightweight. I love using it to clean both open and enclosed spaces—it is a huge help with cleaning.

Corded stick vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall a great vacuum for quick cleanups! My wife loves her full size shark power detect so we were excited to try out the stick vacuum detect. We have mostly hardwood and tile floors with just a few small rugs so it mostly is used to pick up food messes from kids and pet hair.

The good:
- no hair tangling issues for us
- lightweight to easily bring up and down stairs
- selectable power modes work well
- rubber pads at the top to lean against a wall is a nice addition
- blue light really helps show the dust, dirt and hair!

Quirks:
- the cord is nice and long but it attaches at an odd spot where it can rub on your hand when using the vacuum
- steering is not the smoothest but once you use it a bit it's perfectly fine

Would give 4.7 stars if I could but it's definitely deserving of the 5 stars.

My new favorite lightweight Shark!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved this stick vacuum. I have a small house and storage is limited, so I loved how it fit so perfectly in my coat closet. The blue light detection is a game changer. My previous vacuum doesn't have that feature and I didn't realize how much easier it makes cleaning. I did one pass over each section and I was so excited to see that everything was gone!! I have a dog and had people over this weekend, so my house had a lot of dirt/dust/hair on the floor and it all got picked up so quick. The Detect and Reveal Corded Stick Vacuum was so easy to move, not heavy at all, and is my new go to! I love it!!

GREAT VACUUM!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I really do like this vacuum. It is lightweight, pivots easily and is versatile. The only downside is the small dirt bin. Granted I have two dogs, which means I accumulate a lot of dog hair. Other than that, it easily detaches to a handheld for reaching smaller or higher up spots. Plus, the light it shines helps showcase all the hair on the floor. Which is both a blessing and a curse. I would recommend this vacuum!

Lightweight and versatile

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice stick vacuum with greater power than a Dyson and a few extra features. In our house, the worry is always about clogging up a vacuum with hair -- hunan and canine -- that jams the brushroll and clogs the hose. Here, no hose. No dying battery. And almost no debris cleaning out the dust chute. It's basically a two in one since the top comes off to become a hand vac. Good features, decent value.

Two in one with power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to really like the shark detective reveal recorded stick vacuum, but I found it works better as a spot cleanup, vacuum rather than a whole hometype of vacuum.

The assembly was super easy and quick. It took me maybe 2 minutes. Even my five year old could do it.

One of my favorite features is a detect and reveal lighting. I love how the lights help illuminate dirt and debris that you might not otherwise see it's actually really satisfying to see what's hiding on the floor and then be able to pick it up and also shows you places that you have missed the vacuum. Also, does an amazing job picking up pet hair it is probably one of the strongest suits of this vacuum I was rather impressed with how well this thing sucks up hair. Being in a multi pet home this can be a challenge where it doesn't perform quite as well is picking up dirt and dust. Especially the stuff that is deeply embedded in the carpet. This vacuum is extremely maneuverable and easy to get around the house, especially in those tight spots, which is nice.

The vacuum is super lightweight, maneuverable, and convenient for grabbing when you need to clean up small messes around the house. At the same time it is almost too lightweight. When I tried using it to vacuum my entire house, it became more frustrating than convenient. The suction power is pretty good, but it doesn't feel especially strong, particularly when compared to another flagship vacuum in its class.

I did notice an issue with the vacuum head. While cleaning, it would sometimes want to lift up and move into the standing position instead of staying flat against the floor. I'm wondering if the head being so lightweight contributes to this because it doesn't always seem to have enough weight to stay suctioned to the floor. Which made cleaning more difficult and was one of the biggest frustrations with this vacuum.

Another downside is the very small dust cup. It fills up quickly, especially if you're trying to clean a large area so you have to stop and empty it fairly often. If you use this vacuum as a spot cleanup, it is perfect. I would say this vacuum is more oriented towards the people that live in apartments or small condos that have smaller rooms and areas to clean.

This could be a perfect vacuum for somebody that doesn't have a whole lot of space. But the storage design was another frustration for me. You have to remove the motor section from the vacuum and hang it on the designed tab for storage unfortunately, it didn't feel very stable that way and would keep falling over in the closet. Having to take the vacuum apart just to store it combined with not wanting to stay upright, really made the overall design feel more complicated and frustrating than it needs to be. The attachments do not attach to the vacuum, so I constantly forget that they are available for use. Which can make it fun, trying to keep track of there locations.

Overall, I think this vacuum is better suited for quick cleanups, apartments, or smaller areas rather than being your main vacuum for cleaning the whole house. The detective reveal light and its ability to pick up hair are definitely highlights, but the mediocre suction, small dust cup, funky vacuum head, and frustrating storage design keep it from being a vacuum I would choose as my primary cleaner. Don't get me wrong. This is a great budget oriented vacuum, but it's not something I would be interested in purchasing in the future. I currently own multiple vacuums that are corded and cordless from one of the other top tier brands and I absolutely love them. I would not pick this vacuum over any one of them.

Decent Budget Friendly Vacuum With Some Inconveniences

dust bin is too small difficult for arthritic hands to reattach and empty. doesn't steer as well as my old rocket. have to hold on button for too long until it stays on.returning
