Sam's Club

The vanilla and chocolate cupcakes from Sam’s Club are a total win. Both flavors are incredibly moist, soft, and fresh, exactly what you hope for in a bakery style cupcake.

Now on to the best part, the taste,
The vanilla cupcakes have a light, buttery flavor that’s perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, and topped with rich, creamy frosting that melts in your mouth. Classic done right.

The chocolate cupcakes are just as impressive, deep, chocolatey, and indulgent without being heavy. The frosting is smooth, decadent, and complements the cake beautifully.

What really stands out is the consistency and value: these cupcakes taste homemade, look great for parties or work gatherings, and are an amazing deal for the quality you get. Whether you’re serving guests or just treating yourself, these cupcakes deliver every time.

Highly recommend, the best thing is that you get both flavors in one package so you don’t have to decide if you want vanilla or chocolate, I highly recommend, you won’t regret it! 🧁✨

Absolutely Delicious Cupcakes! 👍🏽👍🏽

I picked up the cupcakes for a family reunion, they were a big hit, there were none left over if this tells you anything. I was actually afraid there were too many, glad I was wrong.

Summer time desserts!

I am SO grateful that Sam's does whipped frosting. I have never been a fan of buttercream, it is too sweet for my taste. The whipped frosting is so much better, not cloyingly sweet. It's so hard for me to find store-bought cupcakes with whipped frosting. The cake is good as well. I always buy these trays for my daughter and her class for her birthday. Always a hit!
Last time I bought these (March 2026), there were none left in the bakery case. I asked a bakery team member, and the employee in charge of frosting the cakes was on lunch. She said it would be a little while before she came back if I didnt mind waiting. I shopped around and sure enough, they were putting out more trays about 45m-1hr later just as I was told. Not only were they true to their word on that part, but they put out the whipped frosting cupcakes first since they relayed that I was waiting on some. I was very appreciative, especially since I was headed right to my daughter's school straight from Sam's to drop them off. Very happy with these cupcakes AND the customer service! Will be buying again. ,:)

LOVE these!

I love these so much. We’ve had them for multiple birthdays now and it’s so much easier than cutting cake. No need for extra plastic wear or even plates. Napkins and cupcakes. Less expensive, less mess, less trash at the end of the party. Just perfect.

Delicious and Convenient!!

I purchased this flat of cupcakes for my daughter's birthday. They were incredibly moist and the frosting was just the right amount of sweet (like a thick whipped cream). For $16-17, these are more than worth it! I have over spent on local bakery cakes for years to get less flavor and crusty icing. Never again! We have ordered from the Sam's Club bakery for personalized cakes as well and they were equally fantastic.

Outstanding Value

Anytime we need cupcakes I always go to Sam's Club. They are a hit at every gathering, everyone raves about them!

Best Cupcakes in the world!

Absolutely love these cupcakes! We sometimes get them plain and have the frosting in bags to decorate them ourselves, so much fun! SAMs club bakery has the best staff as well!

Best cupcakes!

Cupcakes are always fresh & soft and for the most part readily available for purchase. The only reason l gave them a 4/5 is because they ALWAYS have sprinkles on them AND l would love if they had WHIPPED frosting to choose from. My boys think the sprinkles are too girly!

Cupcakes are our go to for kids bdays!

My husband loves cupcakes. I buy these and wrap them individually to put in the freezer. They are the perfect size for a snack and with the whipped frosting they aren't overly sweet.

Good value for the price

The feedback I got on cupcakes was the frosting had NO FLAVOR. and the cupcakes were just OK. I won't be buying them again. People in the house were dreading having to have any more.

Cupcake OK but Frosting fell short
