For Turkey

I've used my daughters while visiting her. She's in Arizona were due to the heat, no one cooks indoors from May to October! With this unit you stay inside out of the heat and same if a monsoon comes through.
(One hiccup though, I tried to register via the QR code, I kept getting an error stating "Direct Link" is not a valid choice.)

Great addition to my barbecue tool set

Chefman

The unit is very sleek looking and the case appears sturdy. Setup was easy. The only negative when using to smoke my ribs was that while the instructions suggest wrapping my ribs in foil, the probe connection distance is reduced dramatically. Even the unit itself states that communication can be limited by foil and other barriers between the probe and the base unit. I had to place the base with 5 feet of my smoker in order to receive a signal.

First Impressions

My son gave me the ChefIQ Smart Thermometer for Fathers Day in 2024. And I love it! I do a LOT of smoking with a Traeger smoker and the struggle I've always had is monitoring the temperature. The Smart Thermometer makes it easy for me to monitor the meat temperature from anywhere! As an example...I was smoking a big ole Brisket for Mothers Day...and was worried that it might get done early and catch me while I was at church. That worry went away when I was able to pull out my phone and use the ChefIQ app to see the temp on the meet! The Docking STation that comes with it is also fantastic as it has audio alerts with a voice that gives me alerts such as letting me know when I need to wrap the meat.

I have had two issues with my unit...however ChefIQs support is fantastic! A few emails back and forth and my problems were solved!

I highly recommend this unit!

Fantastic for smoking

I’m really happy with the IQ Sense product! It works great, feels high quality, and was very easy to set up and use. The performance has been reliable, and it gives me peace of mind knowing everything is working properly. You can tell the product was designed thoughtfully and with good attention to detail. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a dependable and user-friendly solution!

IQ Sense

I heard the advertisement on my local sports station WFAN. ChefIQ is a no brainer. It's easy to set up a cook. Just click on what your cooking and the way you want it (rare medium well done etc) it comes with an app so you can see what the inside temperature is. The base where the probe thermometers are stored actually talks to you while cooking. It tells you when to flip your food and when to remove from heat.
It's awesome. There's no cutting to see if it's done there's no worries when you're cooking. I use mine when I grill. My wife uses it when she cooks in the oven. Many ways to use it. There's a screen where you pick what type of cooking you're going to be doing. It comes out just the way you want it every time. Summer is coming. If you're cooking a lot of food at one time I would recommend multiple probes. You won't regret it. You're gonna love it.

No worries cooking

I gave this as a gift to my boyfriend.,,,,, he is in love with it. We have a table top grill. He's used it on all types of meat, pork steak ribs & just recently grilled red fish & can I just say barbecue has never been so good.,,,,, using the app with the probes, the cooking is 100% spot on along with the resting time, meat is more tender then expected. It is a must have for one who likes to grill but is not an expert,,, works with ease.

Birthday gift

1. No description anywhere of the watts required for the charger. I settled on 5w to be safe. 2. Product number was hard to identify for the warranty application. 3. Didn't realize Bluetooth was essential, not optional or that i needed to have both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi to operate. Finally figured it all out after an hour or so. BTW: Best pork chops I ever made!

A Little Difficult to Get Started

Had trouble right from day one.
The thermometers %231 and %232 are well constructed but the %231 never worked.
After notifying the company I need to send a video showing that was not working.
They ended up sending me a %233 because they were out of %231 not a big deal to me except %233 not working correctly readings are off by 10 degrees or more. I used their pre set cooking instructions and my med rear beef ended up well done .So far I used them only a few times and still have not tried %232 . I do not recommend and are very disappointed with costumer service as well .

I do not recommend

QR code goes to sign up page, text, and email, then 10% off purchase. Once navigated to that point you get several options of serial numbers, none of which match, and no model number to enter. THEN, you get this review page. A simpler way to register would be appreciated.

Confusing warranty registration

I just wanted to hook them up to the app and I’ll get all these offers to sell me other things so I go to a different place and I still haven’t figured out now they have me sign in how much I love something when I haven’t even been able to use it yet
