Incredible microtech heat leggings. These are the softest I have even worn. And you get 2 pair in this package. They are heat retention which will be great when I wear them to outside sporting events this Fall in the cool weather. A very breathable material too. And very true to sizing, I got Medium and they are a true medium

Incredible Leggings

These layer pants from Free Country are so soft and comfortable. They are lightweight enough to just lounge in around the house or perfect for layering under jeans when the temperatures get cold. The inside of these are also very soft. Would recommend these!

Comfy and the perfect weight

I love these pants! And they surely came in handy with the sudden change in weather. They are soft to the touch with a lining. The lining is not too thick which allows alot of movement like yoga pants.

The pants you need!

Very warm leggings!! Love them, can't wait for our upcoming fall camping trip to wear them. I would order a size up, they do fit a little smaller than my normal size. They aren't thick so you can definitely wear them under other pants.

Warm Leggings

These are excellent! Very comfortable to wear and they keep you very warm when outdoors. Perfect for layering or just lounging around. There is plenty of stretch, but they also conform very well to the body. Sizing is appropriate.

Best leggings ever

I got the pants and shirt to go under my uniform. I found them warm and break from the wind. They were not so hot that I had to take them off between calls. I work on an ambulance I can be outside standing on the highway for hours or just going from the truck to someone’s house.

Great for the money

I bought a set of Free Country base layer pants when the heat went out at my office for a couple of weeks. I also bought a pair of Cuddl Duds pants at the same time, so my review is mainly a comparison of the two. I ordered the XL (16-18) Free Country pants since I normally wear a size 16 jean. However, on me, the Free Country pants were a tad bit small. The XL Cuddl Duds I ordered fit much better although the XL in that brand is for 18-20. The FC pants are much thinner than the Cuddl Duds. I was more interested in heat retention so the CD pants were more preferred in my situation. Also, the tag in the back of the FC pants drove me crazy the first day I wore them. Overall, I would buy the FC pants again but I would size up. You do get a 2-pack with the FC pants instead of 1 pair of CD for the same price but just note that the FC pants are much thinner and run smaller for what you would think would be the same size.

Good, thin base layer; runs smaller

These fit true to size according to the size chart. If you have a flexible measuring tape, it will be your best friend for online clothes shopping. I fit a size small but on the advice of other reviews, ordered a medium and they're too big!! Don't be me! Measure yourself and get the correct size!
Other than that, these seem like a decent base layer for that will work under just about anything. The material is thin and almost sheer (if you look closely) but not clingy nor staticky, though I'm not sure how warm they'll be due to the sheerness. They do seem very comfortable and have a lot of stretch as well. They are on the longer side (5'6”) so just keep that in mind if you're shorter, though that could be because I initially got the wrong size… will update when I get the correct (small) size but with the medium, I had a little bit of bunching at the ankles so these will work great for anyone taller as well!

Nice Base Layer

Purchased for my daughter for a trip she took to visit friends in Philly. We live in FL and she didn’t have cold weather pants. They worked great underneath the leggings she wears normally.

Worked well.

Pants were not the ones I ordered in November 2023. I went to my account and hit the reorder for the same pants but the wrong ones were sent.

Not happy
