Ice Balls

It was a good price but took forever to be delivered. It has the app that is great if I want to make sure it is at temp, it doesn't track power usage unless I live in an area the power company has special equipment.
It doesn't have handles and a review I read he said it was hard for him but he was like 6'4" and could grab it from the top but the top doesn't have a grip. The handled is the opening in the middle and it is low on the fridge.
It doesn't have that much freezer space as it has two icemakers. I don't really see a reason for the special sphere shaped ice except to say, "I have ice balls".

I wouldn't buy it again no matter the savings that I got.

Found right door about 1/4 inch lower than the right. Attempted adjustment but will not move up enough. Fridge seems to be fine otherwise.

Ice makers. I purchased my side by side refrigerator in April or May 2022. Since then I have had to replace both the craft and indoor ice makers. They stopped working for no reason. LG kindly replaced the craft ice maker at no charge, but I am on my third replacement part for the indoor ice maker hoping encompass got it right this time. The first part would not fit into the door and the second part was completely wrong.

This is one of the worst purchases I've ever made in life! I've only had the refrigerator for a year and have done about 8 maintenance requests. Can never get anyone on the phone who speaks clear English and LG keeps giving me the runaround. I have to unplug my refrigerator every two weeks and let it manually defrost so that it can produce ice and cool properly!

Terrible purchase

This was a letter to the office of the president and as of today I still
Do not have a working refrigerator.

I am writing to formally request that LG replace my refrigerator, Model LRSOS2706S/01, Serial Number 301MRMD08915.

I purchased this refrigerator in 2023 with the expectation that it would provide many years of dependable service. Instead, in approximately two years, this refrigerator has experienced four separate component failures. Despite multiple repair attempts, the appliance has continued to fail, and I no longer have confidence in its reliability or safety.

The most recent failure caused the refrigerator and freezer to stop cooling completely. As a result, I lost approximately $600 worth of food, including meats, cheeses, seafood, frozen vegetables, and breads.

Even more concerning, the refrigerator failure resulted in a substantial water leak that caused extensive damage to my home. Professional water mitigation was required, including removal of flooring, baseboards, trim, and other affected materials. Industrial drying equipment was installed throughout the home to prevent additional damage.

The total cost of the water mitigation and repairs is approximately $17,000.00. This incident has caused tremendous disruption, inconvenience, and stress, in addition to the financial impact of filing a significant homeowner's insurance claim.

After four component failures and nearly $17,000.00 in property damage, I believe it is clear that continued repairs are not an appropriate solution. I purchased an LG appliance expecting quality and reliability, but my experience has been the exact opposite.

I respectfully request that LG:

Replace this refrigerator with a new unit of comparable value rather than attempting another repair.
Reimburse me for my approximately $600.00 in spoiled food.
Review my case at the Executive Customer Relations level due to the repeated failures and the extensive property damage caused by this appliance.
I have maintained this refrigerator properly and have cooperated fully with every repair process. However, after four component failures in such a short period, I have completely lost confidence in this product. I believe replacing the refrigerator is the only reasonable and fair resolution.

I hope LG will stand behind its products and demonstrate its commitment to customer satisfaction by resolving this matter promptly.

Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to your response.

Horrible product

This refrigerator was pricey. It's been broken (does not cool, fridge or freezer) for about a month. It's reported to me this is still under warranty, however it's been three weeks with out a dispatched service tech. Meanwhile, I don't have a refrigerator and and spending ungodly amounts on groceries!

Broken

Purchased refrigerator less than a year ago. Ice dispenser freezes up and no ice will dispense. Repair person came twice and said it can’t be fixed. Seeking a solution from LG. Very disappointed. I would never buy this refrigerator if I knew it had these problems. Buyer beware!

Ice freezes up and does not dispense

Do NOT buy this ! Our ice maker froze up in less than one year and cannot be fixed!!!!!!!
Total piece of garbage !! Two repair visits and the guy gave up. Said can't do anything. But he didn't submit it so we can do a resolution. So far we are getting the run around. Legal action is needed class action is needed. Lg sucks!

Do NOT buy this !

Compressor failed at the 4 year mark. Warranty work has so far taken more than a month to get resolved. The craft ice maker also regularly froze up when it was working. Buyer beware.

Premature Failure

We purchased an LG refrigerator and have had various problems with it since the beginning. That, coupled with the lack of warranty response on the part of LG, has convinced me to never purchase another LG product of any kind. If it says LG, I'll pass right on by.

Never again
