[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a great experience from shopping on the webpage to purchase to delivery to now enjoying using it.  It isn't fancy but means less can go wrong. It is quiet, no vibration, runs great, and my clothes are dry and quicker than our old dryer.

We replaced a worn-out 21-year-old GE model with similar features and are generally happy with this one. It's quieter than the GE (before it wore out) and if we have one complaint, it's that you can't change the heat settings on the different drying settings like we could with the GE (e.g., no high or low heat on the normal drying setting). Otherwise, it works as advertised.

Solid quiet drier

The problems are great. Perfect to get the desired dryness of clothes. Would be a five if there were a light inside the drum to pickup small clothings

Bought this dryer to go with the washer I have. It was great until it wasn't. It's 2 years and 2 months old and suddenly wouldn't stop running. Even after the cycle ended. The only way I could stop it was to open the door. Turns out there is a relay that gets stuck. Apparently a very common problem with LG dryers. Try a different brand and do some research. Read lots of reviews before you buy.  Only a 1 year warranty (I forgot to buy the extended warranty).  Who only has a 1 year warranty?

VERY disappointing

This was the worst experience I have ever had with any purchase that I have made in my 60 years. The dryer did not function properly yawls repair people could not fix it and y'all decided to refund my money. I have been in contact with your presidential liaison team for the past three months, trying to get a refund check and everybody keeps passing the book and I have still not received my refund.

Worst purchase ever made

This dryer does not perform the way the advertising leads you to expect. From the very first loads, it became clear that the moisture‑sensing system does not behave as described. The dryer repeatedly shuts off before all clothes are dry even when all clothes have very similar thicknesses. When the sensor touches one single dry item it will end the entire cycle while other items remain damp, and this happens consistently across normal household loads.

We tried every setting, every cycle type, and every reasonable variation in how we loaded the machine, and the behavior never changed. The dryer simply does not complete a full load on its own. You end up restarting cycles again and again just to finish what should have been a straightforward drying job. For a major appliance, this is a fundamental performance problem.

The way the sensor system operates creates a real, everyday frustration that buyers should be aware of. The advertising suggests a dryer that automatically adjusts and finishes loads accurately, but that is not what happens in regular use. People should not rely on those claims when deciding whether this model will meet their needs. Based on our experience, it does not deliver the performance described, and I would not choose this model again.
