I’ve been sleeping on the Member’s Mark Hotel Premier 14” Hybrid Mattress (medium firmness), and the difference has been incredible.

Before switching to this mattress, I was using an old spring mattress and waking up every morning with severe back pain—it was even difficult just to get out of bed. After the very first night on this one, I woke up completely pain-free. I’ve now been sleeping on it for several nights, and that relief has continued. I’m consistently waking up without any discomfort and can get out of bed easily again.

The medium firmness is exactly what I was looking for—not too soft and not too firm. My previous mattress was a pillow top, and this feels much more supportive while still being comfortable.

The only downside is the smell when you first open it. There’s a strong, unpleasant odor at first. It does fade over time, but even after a week, there’s still a slight smell lingering.

Also, be aware that the mattress is quite heavy. I have a king size, and getting it up the stairs was a challenge—it’s definitely a two-person job.

Overall, if you’re dealing with back pain and need a supportive yet comfortable mattress, this one has been a great fit for me.

Great Support and Comfort, but Strong Initial Odor

This Member's Mark mattress from Sam's Club was a great find! I am so obsessed! It has a premium feel at a pocket friendly cost. It comes as a bed in a box for easy transport without the delivery fees. Just look at the breathable surface Texture  and edge support. After one night of sleep, I could tell the difference in the pressure relief! My husband and I recommend 10/10 for anyone wanting a spacious, supportive night's rest without breaking the bank!

We upgraded our bed! Best decision EVER!

Was starting to experience hip pain with my old mattress. As a side sleeper I was having to change positions every hour or so.  This mattress had a decent rating from Consumer Reports so I decided to give it a try.  So far I'm pretty happy with it.  My hip pain, though not completely gone, has subsided. I thought about getting the Plush version but the Medium version (which the store had in stock) has been just fine. I hauled it upstairs by myself but be aware this thing is heavy (100+ lbs). And if you don't like it you can return it - but you have to get it back to the store on your own (no pickup).  FYI - I'm 6 ft and 195 for reference.

Pretty happy with it so far

I am extremely happy with this Member’s Mark Hotel Premier Collection mattress. From the very first night, I noticed a big difference in comfort and support. The hybrid design really gives you the best of both worlds—the memory foam layers feel soft and contour nicely, while the pocket coils provide excellent support and keep everything feeling stable.
One of my favorite features is how cool it sleeps. The cooling cover and gel memory foam really seem to work—I don’t wake up overheated like I have with other mattresses. It’s a great balance of softness and firmness (I’d say true medium), which works well whether you sleep on your back or side.
Setup was simple, and the quality feels impressive for the price. It honestly has that “hotel bed” feel right at home.
If you’re looking for a comfortable, supportive, and cooling mattress without spending a fortune, this is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!

Cool, Comfortable and Great Value !

Thos mattress is great! I chose the hybrid because I've been sleeping on a memory foam mattress for a few years and it's starting to wear out. This one has memory foam and springs ans can be used with several types of bed frames ( I have a platform bed). It's pretty thick so i believe any sleeping style could find a good spot. You don't necessarily need a boxspring like a regular mattress so that saves you some money. Also, be ready for a 2 person lift.. it weighs over 100lbs!!!

Great option and best of both worlds! Heavy lift!

Hotel premier hybrid matress so far has worked well. It did have a smell that is normal and went away after a couple of days. I washed the top cover immediately and it helped with the smell. There is no wash instructions so I washed it as delicates. It did feel really fresh but after adding a matress cover and sheets, it still feels a little cool. But still cooler than regular matresses. Only real complaint is the fitted sheet comes off sometimes when laying or sitting close to a corner. Hopefully stays the same firmness after a year.

Great matress for mid firmness

Take the time to allow your mattress to expand to its original size. Once you allow this you will have an amazing mattress. I love soft and my husband loves firm, this mattress falls just right for us both. This is a hybrid so you get an amazing level of comfort with the memory foam. It also works on the sleep bed frames that adjust, great investment.

Just Right

I already love memory foam mattresses. This was a step above what I have used in the past. I love the washable cover. Simply unzip and wash. I have some back issues and the way this fits to my back provides for a great sleep. I wake up relieved. I am a hot sleeper and the cooling technology really helped.

Deep Sleep

I am absolutely amazed at the quality and extras of this mattress. It's always fun to watch one of these compacted mattresses spread itself out on your bed. Because this mattress has a foam top it does take a few days for the foam smell to dissipate. Once it has, you find the mattress to be extremely comfortable. The mattress also contains springs for better support, side handles for easy movement and a zip off top that can be machine washed. What you get is luxury and practicality. I have slept so well without any pressure points and I highly recommend this mattress.

Classy, comfortable and well thought out.

It came in a box, which was convenient for us to bring it in house, but much hearvier than it looked. As soon as opened it un sealed it, it became like normal matress with good height. It was true medium softness. I like soft, but my husband prefer a medium hardness. However, we both had a good night sleep the second night. First night was a little strange from our old 16 year mattress. One thing I didn't care for was odor from the mattress. I have it for about 6 days, it still there. Hopefully it will go away.

If the above warning doesn't convince you, I'll explain why. 

I bought this mattress to replace a Sealy I bought at Sam's over 11 years ago. The advertised features seemed convincing, and I liked the idea of it being a hybrid mattress because I'm not completely sold on all foam construction. I was also skeptical of a king size mattress being compressed into a relatively small box, but I reluctantly decided to buy it anyway. This ended up being one of the worst decisions I've made in my life. 

After bringing the mattress home and opening the box to allow it to expand, I was shocked to see that the mattress is folded and rolled under compression. I was thinking there's no way that the coils could not be compromised with this packing method, and I would soon realize that my assumption would be correct. 

1. The first thing I noticed was the awful smell coming from the mattress, resembling something like mildew. The literature that came with the mattress noted that there would be a smell and that it would subside with time. This may be true, but it's not a good user experience for something that's claimed to be a premium product.

2. The next thing I noticed was the mattress not being squared (not 90 degrees at every corner). Some of the sides were even curved and would look bad if I had put bedding on it. 

3. The foam top beneath the removable cover was not applied evenly with the other mattress layers. You can see in the attached pictures how the foam top has an overhang on one side of the bed. 

4. The mattress looked wavy coming out of the box, but I gave adequate time to ensure it was not a problem with the expansion process. Sure enough, the waves never went away after 17 days without sleeping on the mattress. This is the number of days that passed before the attached pictures were taken. 

5. The mattress is not true to size as other commenters have mentioned. It was at least 3" too short in some areas, less in others because of the cruved edges. 

6. The worst part of all this is the lack of customer support from Sam's. I would not be able to return the mattress the same way I bought it from the store because it came compressed in the box, and I was told that I would have to return it to the store. This is now a huge inconvenience because I don't have a vehicle large enough to transport the mattress in its expanded state. I'll like have to rent a moving truck to finally be done with this poor excuse of a mattress being marketed as a premium product. 

I have enjoyed being a Sam's Club member, but this experience really has me thinking I should drop my membership and join their competitor that opened a location across the street. I am appalled by the lack of quality control on this mattress. There's no way that the manufacturer is held to any standard, and the worst part is that it's made in the USA, which is supposed to offer the best quality money can buy.

DO NOT BUY THIS MATTRESS! Worst quality control!
