I would recommend purchasing this washer to anyone looking for a larger capacity washer especially those with a larger family. I also love the smart things app, which connects to washer and allows you to receive notifications when a load is complete. This allows you to run errands and not feel bog down or laundry is all day event.

Coming from a 3.5 cu.ft Samsung front load washer to this 5.5 cu.ft top load Samsung washer has been a dream change. My wife complained about her back because of having to bend over for the front load, but now is pleased with this top load. I have used it several times as well and it is a joy to use. It's quiet and I appreciate all the features built into it. I especially like the wireless connectivity which lets me know that my load is done since the unit is in the basement and I can't really hear the chime go off. No more damp clothes sitting around until the next day where it has to be washed again!

Having the active water jet feature is nice to have, you don't know it until you try it. Being able to pre soak a stain and then use the water jet to help active the stain remover before it goes into the load is helpful (no more using the bin sink and getting water on the floor while you transfer the item to the washer).

I've used normal wash, quick wash, and bedding / waterproof setting so far and It uses the correct amount of water needed based on the size of your load. It also appears to give suggestions on wash cycle (temp, rinse, spin) based on that load size. I made some corrections but it was pretty good at determining my needs.

My review is based on the model with the impeller.

I have been very happy with all my Samsung products in which I have a several. (65" OLED S90D, 65" The Frame TV, Odyssey G8 OLED Ultra wide monitor , washer / drier, Active 2 watch, and Refrigerator)

Best change from front to top load

Great Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer has an amazing capacity cutting my laundry time significantly. It thoroughly washes the clothes even when full.

Capacity

This is the first washer I have purchased with an open tub. I’m not sure if that’s why it constantly goes off balance. You have to stop the machine and restart it. Which then resets the time. When it is on the spin cycle, it starts at 15 minutes. It actually takes 3 1/2 minutes to start to spin. If the machine goes off balance and you stop it to rearrange the sopping wet articles once you restart it sets back to 15. There are also issues with the fill process. There are times it does not feel enough to cover the items in the wash. Then there are times when it overfills. I always said it on the same cycle of quick wash which takes 34 minutes. There are times I have to shut the cycle off completely and just put it on spin. This will be the last Samsung purchase I make. I even purchased the extended warranty through Sams Club, which is Allstate. In order to get a repair person they come from two hours away and that can take an act of Congress. I am done with Samsung products.

***Buyer beware ***

This washer is V E R Y slow, it takes at least 1 hr for a normal load. Big yes but it doesn’t wash just soaks your clothes and “moves” very slow, even with deep fill the clothes on top won’t even get wet.

Do not recommend this washer

Unfortunately I ordered this early June. The delivery company rescheduled 3 times and they have had the product since June 17th. I had to buy somewhere local even though this was the best price. The delivery company is unreliable.
