While I was initially a bit concerned that it wasn't as thick as my previous mattress, this turned out to be a non-issue. The comfort it provides is outstanding. I actually had the best night's sleep I've experienced in a long time on my very first night. There was no tossing and turning or overheating. It was perfect.

You just open the box and cut open the plastic, and the mattress starts to expand. I gave it a couple of days before I tried it out, but both my son and I have slept on it, and it is super comfortable.  When I need to replace my youngest sons mattress I will definitely be purchasing a Serta.

Great mattress for the money!

The mattress was very uncomfortable, even after trying to break it in over a few months. Also, the mattress never fully expanded. It was a few inches shorter than the advertised length and about an inch less wide than what was advertised. The length was the most concerning part and left a gap that was unsafe for my toddler. I am returning it.
