Apparently there was a missing bag of hardware with my pirchase as I had several missing screws, nuts and bolts referenced in the instructions. Of course, this was towards the end of the build process, so I had to stop and make a trip to the local hardware store to purchase the missing items. Very inconvenient. Better quality control is needed from the manufacturer.

we used three sets of instructions: booklet that came with shed, bilt app info, you tube vid. all were useful. HINGES: only way I could get them installed properly was to connect hinge to door panel and thru pilot hole of bar (this will make sense when you are working on it), then connect side bar panel to door. otherwise, a bit complicated but we took our time and got it done. just two of us, my 100lb wife and me 225lbs. strength does help, and four hands are necessary.

I bought this shed early last month. We love it! My 17-year old assembled it without a hitch. It is a very nice looking and well constructed shed. It is located on our back concrete porch adjacent to the entrance to our pool deck. We use the shed for storing pool chemicals & cleaning equipment & supplies; kids floaties & toys; and life vests. It is perfect for our needs - looks good, big & spacious, easy opening lid & doors, and it can be easily locked to keep kids safely out.

Although designed for holding two large recycling trashcans, I bought two of them at my local Sam's Club to take some of the clutter out of my garage. I built each one by myself in about 3 hours. I am storing bicycles, lumber, etc., in them, and that will change over time as my needs change. These sheds are squat compared to a typical shed, but they are wide and deep, a real volume leap over the typical storage deck box. They have endured two rain storms and were "dry as a bone" afterwards. As a bonus, they were $100 less for basically the same Lifetime product from that other box warehouse store that sells those $5 chicken roasters.

I was hesitant to purchase this storage due to the negative reviews about assembly; however, I’m glad I bought it! My husband built this shed by himself in approximately 3 hours at a leisurely pace, taking a break here and there. I only helped him put the lid on. We did purchase self tapping screws ahead of time since they were mentioned and it was a good choice. The rubber mallet is also a must. Our ground is not perfectly level and the shed works great. Make sure you have clearance for the doors to open. I’m tempted to buy another for our lawn tools.

This shed is very sturdy. Several support bars and plenty of hardware to hold it together. Took two of use 3 hours, at a leisurely pace, to assemble. In my opinion, you need two people. The shed is much much more sturdy than the one it is replacing. Looks great too! I would definitely purchase from Lifetime again.

i bought three and was easy to put together. The lid on two of them warped the frist m onth and causes seal problems. The other one no problems. Saw others in my neighbor hood which are same also warped. Says lifetime but no info to file a claim to have new lids replaced.

I read a lot of people having issues putting this together. I had NO issues at all and I’m female, 4’10” and past retirement age and put this together with no help from anyone. It took me a few hours and I used both the written instructions and the video to make the whole installation process go smoothly. The only issue I had was two screws weren’t long enough to fit the lid brace to the lid, but it didn’t stop installation and I will find the proper length of screws to install later. If time is taken to read and fully comprehend the instructions, there shouldn’t be any problem. The unit is perfect for my use—to keep hay and feed outside by my animals and finally out of my garage. It is water-tight and holds together well in the wind. The lid holds both doors closed when it is latched. I’m very happy I chose his model after researching many other different sheds. I recommend this product highly.

Brought shred a few weeks ago. Only thing happy with was the fast delivery. The shed directions were not correct to the product. Incomplete pieces, that did not designed to that shed. You cannot put wood screws into steel beams!!!!!!!. Called customer service...the guy was nasty and rude!! No help whatsoever. Was going to buy another one. But not anymore.will not buy anything else from sams online again!

Bought this in July 2021. Delivery comes by freight truck. Last mile delivery was by local franchisee for Pilot. Box all torn up. Delivered in a rental truck. Box all torn up. Looks as it had been handled by the gorillas in the airport baggage handling commercials. It took my grandson and I 8 hours to put together. This was after we both viewed the online videos of how to put together. They do it in a nice, pristine environment - nothing like what you will face at your house. After putting it together, except for hasp portion, we put top down for the night. It rained. Opened door next day, water all over floor. Finished installing hasp - directions of no help here. Put top down. It rained again that night. Opened doors next day; rain on floor.. Chatted with Lifetime rep via computer. They wanted pictures of inside to determine which pieces they needed to send. Lifetime Tech was even trying to tell me that we should expect some rain to get in if it was windy when raining!!! There was no way I was going to dismantle that thing and put it back together. After putting caulk on all the vertical and horizontal seams. We closed it up. It rained. Water back inside. Final try was to cover top with tarp. It rained. Water inside again. So it appears that the top design is inferior. I caulked seam in top but caulk did not take fully in all places after closer investigation. Also top has three holes in rear where hinges are located that are completely open. Poor design by Lifetime. Again, DO NOT BUY. Should you chose to do so, then get a good tube of quality exterior caulk. Do seams both inside and outside and maybe it won't get wet insdie. Lifetime makes good tables and chairs. Stay away from the horizontal shed until quality control is much better.
