Went up from $499 to $699.

I'm sure it's a fine smoker, but don't get it at the $699 price. The max price used to be $499 with regular sales bringing it down well below that. It's not worth $700.

Verified Purchase

Great Smoker!

The smoker is great ,easy to put together, holds temp well, plenty of smoke, and meat cooks quickly but the induction burner isn’t working correctly. It seems to over heat and starts to error out after cooking for 5-6 minutes.

Not built to last

Had our pellet grill 6 months then the electronic system stopped reading internal tempatures. The two meat probes also stopped working. Could never get a hold of the manufacturer after multiple calls and emails. Had to return it.

diisappointment

I was so excited to buy this grill. I have a traeger but missed the smoke flavor. The main thing i liked was the smoke box.. After less than 6 months the door to the smoke box no longer seals there is little or no smoke going into the grill I am very disappointed.

Damaged in box

I had been eyeing this smoker for a while and finally bought it a few weeks before Thanksgiving. It took about a week to get here which is understandable considering the size of the box. However is arrived damaged. I reached out to customer service who gave me three options. First option was to return the smoker and get a refund since there wasn’t any in stock. Second option was to submit a request to the manufacturer to get replacement parts. Third option was to get a partial refund so that I could “take care of it myself.” I picked the second option and provided pictures (included) of the parts that were damaged. I was told that the manufacturer would respond to the clam within 7-10 business days. I waited almost 2 months and still hadn’t heard anything back. Customer service stated that the manufacturer hadn’t responded. I then asked for my third option of a partial refund since it seemed like the manufacturer was never going to respond. Customer Service stated that was not an option and my only option was to return the smoker. After my wife spoke with a manager we did receive a partial refund. Because of the damage I have yet to see the full potential of the smoker. I was really excited for this smoker but the manufacturer did not honor the warranty and replacement policy.

Didn't even make it through the first cook.!

I was really excited to get this to do overnight cooks. The smoker was delivered yesterday, and I put it together. Tonight, I was doing a pork butt and my thermoworks probe went off because I lost temp. Sure enough it stopped working on the first cook! Unbelievable!!! The auger is just feeding pellets, but the fire rod is cold. Spend a few more dollars and get something else.

Best Smoker Ever!

This is absolutely the best purchase I have ever made from SAMS Club, Total Quality! I did a lot of research into smokers before purchasing. One of the largest complaints concerning smokers is not enough smoke above 225 degrees. That problem is completely solved by the wood box on this grill. Above 225 just simply put a piece of wood inside the smoke box and watch what happens. 225 and below the wood is not needed or desired. But above 225 complete smoking is restored while maintaining a high temperature for baking or frying. I absolutely Love this grill! I would very highly recommend it above the Trager, Pit Boss or anything you can stack up agents it.
