Bought this late last year and am glad we did. Extremely quiet. Washes everything well -- including whites that come out nice and bright. Steam feature is a big plus. Washer has many useful settings that allow you to easily tailor each wash to temperature, length of cycle, type load without complicated controls. The controls are simple and intuitive with easy-to-read dials which is much appreciated.

Great new toy

So far it has an excellent washing machine.  It get my clothes much cleaner than my previous machine and is very easy to operate.
I did have to buy the pedestal to raise it up for easier loading and unloading.

It has great features including allergiene and sanitary which we absolutely love! The captivity is fantastic! It fits huge loads including bedding which actually has its own setting. Everything comes out so clean!

Wonderful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this in Nov but delivery was delayed about a month or so. Our other appliances are all black but we had to settle for black steel which is dark gray. The glass doors help it blend in and are a quality touch. Washer works great and is very fast. 29 min for a load and uses very little water. Huge capacity. Lots of settings. Requires phone app to access online features and add settings even though is wifi enabled.This washer requires Hammer arrestors to be installed on your water pipes-this should be told up front, and is my main complaint. The violent on and off shakes the pipes. The clothes stick to the drum when finished and you have to peel them off. The washer sticks out a bit further into the room than the Frigidaire it replaced, partly because the drum is larger but there is also a large gap at the top/wall that is a clothes trap for things to fall behind. The Frigidaire had a "shelf" that stuck out above the hoses and was close to the wall. The side handles are a great idea to help move and position washer.

I couldn't be any happier with this LG.. They've integrated more tech than you could ever imagine. All with out loosing sight of what it truly is, a washing machine.. It's very simple and easy to use, especially with the app. At first a person may shudder at the cost, but the versatility of this machine is well worth it.  Not only does it perform better than a traditional top loader, but it'll also steam, santize, refresh and control allergens.. If that's not awesome enough, there's a total of 27 different wash cycles to guarantee garment cleaning perfection. Now I can forever reign supreme in my home as the laundry king.

The quick wash with an extra rinse does well on quite a few of our loads. I had heard good things about LG's washers from some of my co-workers so we opted to try one when our 11yr old unit disintegrated. We have a large family, so it will get a lot of use. It will be interesting to see how it holds up.
The only thing that we wish it had that we miss from our old unit is that it doesn't give an ETA when selecting most cycles. It needs to go through

Quiet and Effective

I've had washers before and they've always washed my clothes. This LG unit also does that! You put in your clothes and some soap, press some buttons -- and moments later, you've got clean clothes.

It's fun to connect your washing machine to a WiFi network and then look at your phone app and be like "oh yeah that's right my laundry". Really fun moments.

Literally washes your clothes!

Terrible experience with Sam's Club. It took 3 different appointments and delivery crews to deliver and install this washer and dryer. Once it was finally installed, it was installed incorrectly which resulted in extensive water damage to my home.

The water lines were not attached properly which caused a large amount of water to spray uncontrolled throughout the room. It was so much water that it leaked through the floor and through the ceiling into the room beneath the washer and dryer.

Now I still don't have the washer and dryer installed and have to contend with extensive water damage and insurance claims.
